Seemed like a good price for RAM that would have no clearance issues with the recent Thermalright HSF deal.

  • Nice set of RAM. With 64GB, you can use NVMe drives that use HMB, use a RAM drive for intermediate or working files to save on your SSD's endurance, or have 200 Chrome tabs open at the same time.

    • Thanks for the HMB tip!

have 200 Chrome tabs open at the same time.

A lot of people especially pc builders don't actually know that web browsing on PCs or Laptops (Generally Windows) should have 8GB RAM minimum dedicated for web browsing. More tabs more memory. Really is a no brainer! Web browsers have memory leaks and are not really optimised as they once were.

  • I’d love a deal on 4000 MHz

  • ive seen 2 reviews that say it does not support XMP even though the description says it does. You will only be able to run it at 2666 and not 3200mhz

    • Manufacturer product page says it does as well: https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/cp2k32g4dfra32a
      "with Intel® XMP 2.0 support"

    • Can you link the reviews? Whether it has or not shouldn't really matter anyway since the XMP and JEDEC profiles should be identical because it's 1.2v RAM.
