    Combine with $30 perks code

please change it to a 3060 for it to be a deal otherwise I'll take another sip of my decaf

    • Decaf this popular now?

      • Full caffeinated coffee might make them jumpy and hit click and buy it out of impulse due to the jumpiness.

It gets worse: 45% NTSC screen, so 68% sRGB colour gamut. These historically have also had horrific response times.

This grade of laptop typically was sold for $800-$1000 as of a year ago…

      This is awful value.

  • 4GB RAM in the 3050? Yikes.

It's enough for on the go esport games, Dota2, CS etc

It's enough for on the go esport games, Dota2, CS etc

        That’s not saying much.

      • so basically, slightly above integrated gpu tier?

    • my old laptop had 1660, and i believe it had better spec than this 3050Ti junk lol.

      • Doesn't RTX mean it can also do basic ray trace whereas the 1660 was GTX?

        • Correct!

        • But turning on ray tracing will tank your fps so it is a completely useless feature in games for lower (even mid) tier gpus.

      • This is slightly faster than 1660 ti max-q

        • if that's the case it isn't too bad, my old productivity laptop was able to handle Warthunder at 4K and maintaining a solid 60fps maxed out everything minus some ray tracing and some advanced ambient tickbox, meanwhile my 1060 6GB desktop could barely handle the same game at 80fps at 1080fps with few settings turned down.

In theory the 3050Ti should be ok for most games considering the price.

  • How would this go as an office productivity machine?
    Any expansion slots for SSD/RAM?

    • Office apps shouldn't need more than 16 GB or 512 GB SSD. It's 8 GB x 2 RAM.

If you want to upgrade, you can purchase 16 GB x 2 and plug it in.

  • it's 2023 and they still make laptops with chin that's bigger than Thanos's?

    • I believe that's where HP are hiding the infinity stones.

IMO, the Omen 16 6800h/6650m is a much better deal at $1429 ($1329 with eBay plus). The extra 4gb of VRAM alone is worth it.

    • absolutely. better screen and cooling, too

    • This is a good deal!
      Thank you.

  • Does anyone have anything positive to say about this product?

Judging by the current response's, I think you have your answer.

I saw this in the cat last night. Trying to decide to get the prime deal LG gram at 1900$. Neither were great. The victus reviews I read had some 1 and 2 stars so I couldn't pull the trigger.

Fast Charge (50% in 30 min)

Some of the bad reviews were battery issues with the laptop.

Yet to see better batteries in laptops and vacuums. We have them in power tools.

      • Which power tool? Do you mean used in a professional capacity ie daily full discharge and recharge like a laptop?

        • Comparative. Many different power tools can be used with batteries now a days cause the batteries are decent. I know laptops are balancing acts between weight and cost, but 2000-7000mAh batteries are crap. Give me 10,000-15,000mAh please.

In this case I'm referring to game usage. Which would probably kill battery anyway.

  • OMG this is marketed as a gaming laptop!!

    • +3

Solitaire and minesweeper are games yeah?

  • Are you able to tell which HDMI port the laptop has without it specifically saying? I'm guessing if it has HDMI 2.0+, they would say it.

    • email the company if it's important to you.

  • This is a $949 laptop at most and would need to be $899 to be a deal

$800 to $850 (1 still available) for similar specs a month ago

12500H is deceptively poor - only has 4P cores versus the 6P cores on the 11400H which makes it worse for gaming
Ti spec 3050 is +10% faster
8GB extra RAM can be added for $30

    • Is changing it to 3060 a deal? Looking for something I can game with but not gaming beast.

  • Is there any additional step to do, to make it a deal?
When I go to a deal, it shows $1749
