          I'm not the expert. You can google yourself and compare their specs. Each brand has a lot of models and each model has its own specs.

        Yes*, but it is also about twice the weight and twice the bulk.
        MacPac Uber is the equivalent to the Heli.

        *But there are other factors, such as baffle design, windproofing, fit, shell material, etc. I think the Halo has nylon outer which would be typically more durable than polyester (Uber has polyester, iirc).

      Its no $199 jacket. Kathmandu are always overpriced on their RRP. Macpac are reasonable but also habe good specials.

        Also makes the product/brand more appealing if there's a range of colours rather than just one or two, which helps drive traffic to the store. This is Uniqlo's business model, and they are extremely successful.
