Oooh! In time for Foundation S2. 😎

    • +9

Episodes are released weekly with the last one due out on 15 Sep. (16 Sep in Australia?)

May be best to set a reminder on this deal and come back later to sign up so you can catch all the episodes. That's what I'm doing.

      • Good idea. 😀

      • That’s done. So the weekend of Sep 15 is gonna be Foundation binge weekend. 😛

      • +1

        That would be S1 E8. 😆

      • Must've worked hard to develop those Pecs to the size of plates!

Meanwhile: Apple pays that 'dawg' Seth Rogan $1mill an episode of 'Platonic'

Just in time as the last 2 month one expired

Silo was great too. Really enjoyed it.

    • +2

I did too. I thought it was going to be another one of those too wordy sci fi shows with too much going on. But it was a great show.

      • I felt that with Foundation. Silo is much more grounded (no pun intended) and easy to relate to

  • Followed the link and clicked redeem, logged in and now it's just sitting with a spinning circle. Hope it goes through as my extended free trial just expired a few days ago, and I'm keen to watch the new season of Foundation!

    • +2

had same thing, I think it's adblock related.
Tried in a VM which has none of the addons etc and worked.

  • Anyone paying for Apple TV+ is an idiot.

    • +4

I hear what you are saying. There's been so many free trials. So far I've had a 3-month free trial,2-month free trial, and possibly this 1-month free trial. There is a pattern there. Maybe this is the last trial. Or it restarts at three.

There's been good things to watch but I wouldn't pay full price.

    • +4

      Don’t hurt me like that…

    • +1

I feel like I’ve used up all the free trial links I can find. Now my only option is to pay… 😐

      • +1

just setup a new apple id

      • +2

yahoo email, outlook, gmail, and then alias emails, it's easy to beat

        • if diff email boxes/aliases used, but with the same attached credit/debit card (as apple requires) would they spot the pattern and block by card ?

      • I got a message saying I've use up maximum redeem codes.
Was hoping to get watch the Steph Curry doco.
Lucked out on this and I have no promos targeted for KFC either.

  • +1

I got its only available for new subscribers?

    • Eligible returning customers. So I guess targeted? Thanks for letting me know.

      • I also still have an active subscription ive cancelled. So i might try when that expires and see if that works.

  • +2

When I click on the the link it’s says Subscription code expires on July 7, 2023.
No luck for me, even though my sub expired long back.

    • Weird, says July 7 on my phone as well but Sept 30 on desktop

    • +2

Said that for me too but just went ahead and clicked redeem and it worked. I’m actually still subscribed so it just tacked it on to my current subscription.

  • +6

It says “your code limit has been reached”. How frustrating. 😫

    • +1

Well, to be fair, this means that you (just like me) have used a lot of codes for free AppleTV+ 😉

    • +1

      There’s a code limit?? 😩
I’m not wasting it on a 1 month then

  • Worked for me, thanks OP!

  • Worked Thanks OP!

  • +4

  • Do I need an apple device to watch?

    • +1

      Apple ID

On non-Apple devices, the streams from the website are pretty low quality, like 720p or something like that.

There is an app for Android TV though which works pretty good, and a beta Windows 11 app which works ok but it's a bit crash-y and unstable.

      • That might be bandwidth related. Most TVs have an ATV app these days too.

        • I'm thinking it's probably a licencing thing, where Apple wants payment from platforms for higher quality streams through apps, pretty sure Netflix or some other streaming service did something similar before with only allowing higher quality streams on certain browsers over others.

But yeah, if your TV has the apps available then all good, and even watching on phone screens the quality from the website is perfectly adequate.

      • Great I'll give the win 11 app a try, since my tv doesn't have apps.

      • On non-Apple devices, the streams from the website are pretty low quality, like 720p or something

I guess I'm imagining my PS5 happily playing Apple TV in 4K

Last Season of Ted Lasso. Rubbish

    • not rubbish just not as good, still watchable IMO

      • Why do people here have to get into every USA crap show that has no trend here, morning show is another crapple

        • it's more of a Brit show than US, everyone has different tastes, I don't like a lot of US shows especially with canned humour, remember Oz has quite a varied population so different people different likes
