  Well that's (profanity) annoying, I actually paid the "admin fee" to reserve 2 tickets a while back, but of course they just use a generic code to make you 'redeem' the tickets instead of emailing the actual tickets. Seems like i've just 'donated' $15.90 to the promo company :/

    Unfortunately some people have misused the system. In future, we will not have a trusting system where people take what they reserved and leave the rest for the others, we will have specific tickets setup because of Ozbargain users such as the one who posted the code here.

  Thanks for the opportunity OTH. First time i have gone and i'll definitely go again next year. When i saw there was a common coupon code when redeeming my tickets, the ease of exploitation did enter my mind but was shortly followed by common decency. Unfortunately use of coupon codes can be like the wild west and are clearly not ideal for an honour and trust system like you originally intended. Guess you will be putting in a little more work for that booking fee next time.
