Got the 1-month trial of diamond, went to cancel immediately. They offered an extra 7 days if I didn't cancel, which i accepted. I then went back and cancelled it for a total of 37 days free premium.
Do they still give you diamond for 37 days after cancelling it? I've put in my calendar to cancel before I have to start paying but would rather cancel now if I don't lose the subscription
Yeah the subscription stays for the length so shouldn't be an issue to cancel now.

Got a year of platinum for $12 using ye olde Turkey VPN.
Walk me through this?
First up you'll need a VPN that can connect to a Turkey IP, I use Windscribe since it's free.
Connect to that VPN and then create a new Chess.com account, it should now allow you to buy their membership using Turkey prices.
Once everything is set up you can disconnect your VPN and still use the account as normal.
Downside is that it'll be a new account, no way to transfer your current account and games over.
Will any credit card work for this?

@Aftos: 500 elo on rapid or blitz? Seems odd how they have different elo ratings for 1 min, 3 min, 10 min, 3 day, 7 day. I'm 800 on 7 day but 500 on rapid (10 min)
