I know it's better chips or whatever, but the 32gb corsair stuff I got for $70 from a previous deal is able to match this kits xmp and even go beyond it with a bit of tuning. so expensive for ddr4 is my point

What's so good about this kit for $172? it's a good 50% higher than what I'd consider a 'bargain'.

An example of a bargain is the recent Kingston renegade 3600 CL16 for $109:

Samsung b die IIRC.. if you want it, theres few options. Clearly you don't want it, which I understand.

This is not Samsung B-die. This uses Hynix die.

        Samsung b die IIRC..

This kit can either be Hynix DJR or Spectek (low bin Micron)

If you get Hynix, you are paying ~60% more than the last deal

If you get Spectek, you are paying Ferrari money for a Haval

  • No dice. No deal to be seen here

Jeeeez…. How long are you gonna keep going on about that?? I realise it was a bad transaction, but an example of a situation to keep going on about is anything from Rosman's lol.

    • They shouldn't be blacklisted, just warn that:

      • they have "pricing errors" and the refund is delayed and it's best to dispute it.

      • they can re-route during shipping, and not to rely on that.

      • best to walk in and buy it.

      • check that it's not refurb.

      …etc

BTW: I coped a lot of flack for pointing out that I hadn’t received a refund the other week. Does it surpise anyone that I still haven't received it? It shouldn't because if they promise a refund in days and miss it, you know you need to dispute it to get your money back, because the question will be, why didn't you dispute it?
