good price but any idea if it's got TN panel? doesnt say on website.

similar products on lenovo website have TN panel hwhich in 2023 is unbearable.

        grim revelation

this is info gleaned off the Lenovo stock code

screen is a TN 45% gamut

unit has 8gb soldered onboard but there's an empty slot

does not have a backlit kbd

does not have usbc gen2, ie. cannot charge off usbc

it mostly likely only has a single nvme so i hope you like 256gb… you can upgrade by reinstalling on a new nvme drive.. single slot is really a pain

this laptop is low end in that its a new build (2023) but its using silicon from 2021… but i mean what other choice do you have for $559???

Still prefer a business grade refurbished notebook for around $350 with 16GB and i7 cpu

  • Been watching laptop deals trying to assess whether my Refurb Dell Latitude 5320 (13.3“ Touch i7-1185G7 16GB 512GB Win10P 65wh battery 3yr NBD warranty) was a good deal at $809. Seems like it was. Machine was as new (not a single mark, no dead/stuck pixels, battery life reported as excellent). The only mess was the warranty which they're trying to fix. For those interested it's going for $999 less $199.80 on HT's shop on eBay. Smidge better than my deal 😁.

    • I can no longer recommend the HT Deal. This is what HT eBay support came back with today. I'm not at all happy so have emailed their OZB rep. Cannot contact any manages or execs on the local tele #. They're safely tucked away behind an impenetrable call centre. Is this the Aussie way?????? Finding the same with Samsung, Bupa, and others. Was compelled to send an email to htcustomerservice, which I did. Let's see. Will update.

Dell just want to check if the serial match from the sticker label at the bottom and inside the actual system.
Also, I just got another update from our return team. We can't update the warranty via DELL. However, if the you had issues with it, we will help you to bring it back to us (if confirmed faulty) and we will send it back to DELL for warranty claim, regardless how many years of warranty left as we need to honor the warranty we indicate in our listing.
