    I thought I might regret getting the watch pro 5 prior to the watch 6 classic release.

    But it doesn't seem to be a direct replacement to it. More of an iteration to the watch 4 classic

        If this was the pro 5, i wouldve still stuck to my original galaxy watch.

        Pro 5 has double the battery life of the watch 4 and 6 according to samsung ratings. Having the pro 5 be a mere interation of the classic 4, would've been bad if you ask me

      Looks like they're going to release effectively the same watch year after year.

      The CPU seems like it's the same as in the GW4 as well, just running at a higher frequency.

      I just checked as I was curious, Galaxy Watch 4 trade in is $100 if upgrading to any Watch 6 variant.

    I don't think I have a reason to move on from my galaxy watch 3.
    The design can't be beaten. All these new ones tilt far too much to the sportier side.
    Oh well it still has 2 days of battery , ECG, bp hr and fitness .. still perfect for me

      I have a galaxy watch 3 as well, getting two days with consistent use. But recently the heart beat monitor stops working intermittently, very annoying when I've paired it to the treadmill and need to maintain a specific avg heart beat.

      Will be getting the 6, just not sure which one!

    I saw the 6 classic and looked at my 5 pro i mean really the only difference is the rotating dial. I actually prefer the touch dial.

      Same, 6 brings nothing new to the table for me. I was glad to get away from the physical rotating bezel.

        May i know why u guys preferred touch dial? Lots of ppl are begging rotating bezel to come back. I haven't watched any reviews but waiting for watch 6 if the ecg got any improvement? Thanks much.

          For me personally its the kids
          They kept spinning it randomly and kinda annoyed me.
          I like the touch dial aswell because of the look. I dont like the bezel look makes it look cheap.

          (a) I very rarely if ever used it, (b) it used to get turned all the time just through wearing it which was annoying. I rarely use to the digital bezel with the 5 either.

          But yes I do know it was a very unpopular removal.

    Watch6 Classic looks nice, only issue is it cost the same as my S23 😭😭

    So glad I purchased the watch 5 pro($449).
    Looks like the only better thing in the new watch 6 lineup is the new chip.
    Battery in the classic 6 watch 43 mm is 300mah and the larger classic watch 6 47mm is 425mah.
    The current watch 5 pro 45 mm is 590mah.
    Hopefully there will be good deals for the outgoing model for those that value a decent 4 day battery life.

      Huh? Apple Watch battery lasts less than all prior samsung watches. Also this has sapphire glass, Apple Watch does not.

    FYI, if you can't select the 'Galaxy Watch 6 Classic' because the option doesn't show up, just click on the normal 'Galaxy Watch 6' then press the down arrow on keyboard. Not sure if there's a fix via mobile web browser but this worked for me on desktop. Also if you're getting the Silver model make sure to 'Reset the Default Band' or you'll get charged for the black band since the band selection persists when switching watch colours.

    After being taken back at the launch RRP I was quite happy with this deal. Ended up paying $420 for a Galaxy Watch 6 Classic (47mm) after trading in my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic (46mm) for $80 and getting $100 bonus trade-in using the 'UNFOLD' promo code. Then using the $50 accessories credit combined with some Samsung Rewards points ($70) I've also snagged a 'D-Buckle Hybrid Eco-Leather Band' for free.

    So I'll end up with a new watch and 3 bands for $420. Not bad at all!

        Yeah same trade-in deal for $100 credit using promo code 'UNFOLD' is active on normal Samsung store and all the same pre-order bonuses. Just the starting price are 20% cheaper on EDU store.

    Trying to trade in the Galaxy Watch 5 44mm Bluetooth+ 4G defaults it to the 40mm version. Clearly don't want people who got the free watch 5 to be trading it in lol.

    If anyone wants a full Android Wear watch with awesome battery life. The Ticwatch Pro 5. Seriously can't beat it. Charged it on Sunday its Thursday and I'm on 38% still and everything is on. I don't wear it while sleeping though. I have a CPAP machine for sleep stats.
