I have over 300 maps reviews but only 150 show publically because Google systematically shadow bans and censors reviews. It picked me up as 'spam' because I did a heap of reviews at once and there is no way to have it lifted…thanks Google.
I had this also recently… Very frustrating!
You might be able to post publically in the future but there is no appeal process and no way to know how to satisfy the algorithm to lift the shadow ban. In fact if you post a negative review on a company page (not what I did but I have seen this happen) and they report you, that is likely to get you shadow banned too, as Google has a vested interest in those businesses listing themselves on Google Maps…
If this happens clear cache a few times in app then it stars working. Google maps
@Daddy Chill: Maybe, I've tried on incognito browsers, mobile version, web version which all have different cached settings. There is whole forums of Local Guides discussing the issue with the shadow bans, it's not a client-side issue most of the time
@rekke: My google maps were only showing reviews in my google maps app and only I could see them. They also took down every single review I ever did. Then by change it started working again then stopped I cleared the cache then posted with the Google maps app then you need to go with your browser while logged out of your Google account and check if it worked. Try a few times delete cache and data. Mine is now working

Generally if Google gives $200 Cashback, plus Unidays 10% off code and 10% back of Google 1 Membership - Pixel 8 can come in descent price. However I haven't checked 10% Google Store credit is on top of $200 credit they give in launching promotion or not.
