  • Have these at home.
Can get 800-900mbps over them so I’m pretty chuffed

    • Good coverage?

      • Yeah, no more or better than any other 3x point mesh system I've used in the past.
You have to be fairly close to one of the AP's to get 6E speeds, but I will say the roaming is damn good.
I moved from a Google Mesh system and used to have occasional blips while streaming music with AirPlay and walking around the house, where as with this stuff it's instant and doesn't skip a beat.

After using their Deco X20, I am never using TP-Link as a router again due to lack of features and design flaws. As mesh AP only, may be.

    • Yeah they're good as APs but never as a router.

Marques…. business must be tough on social media… welcome to Ozbargain.

Agree regarding the lack of features, but the X20 has been almost faultless for me, on a 200Mbit NBN connection it just works, without any dropouts. And it works through double brick external walls, and brick internal walls and gives us significantly better signal than any $200-$300 router I'd used in the past. We have good wifi signal everywhere on a ~500m2 block. Also the free parental controls on the X20 also work well.

I'd have no hesitation getting a TP Link mesh solution again

      • that with a twofer or a threefer setup?

    • +2

What sort of features? I guess by asking that question I don't really need them. I used to have an Asus router running Merlin and that had a lot of features but I never really utilised it.

I currently have a TP-Link Deco M5 which is really simple and works really well. I think I prefer things being simple more these days.

  • anyone got good guys commercial they can share with me? haha DM ME!!

  • What's the current ozbargain choice of mesh router system?
In the market for one at the moment. 5bedroom single story with a gigabit nbn connection

    • -2

You'll need something beefier than this - only has gigabit port.

Will buy, as soon as my commercial membership is setup and hopefully they still have the price.

ORBI was my other choice but double the price
ASUS an option but buggy I here, also as expensive as Orbi

    • I just bought, was hoping to wait out for next credit card for $ towards initial spend for bonus points, but too good to miss.

      • Good pickup, I am in the same boat, waiting for the account for commercial to be created.

  • is this standard price in commerical?

    • Few days ago when I checked 3 pack was 597

  • This is a fantastic price. Have been looking for a 6E mesh for a while now. The XE75 trio usually goes for $700+
Getting sick of waiting for Google nest wifi pro. Best I've seen on that is $604 Amazon uk import.

  • Everyone complaining about lack of features, what features are you all looking for?

What would you recommend instead around $500? Some Orbi model?

  • Amazon reviews say these have no separate 2.4/5 ghz band, does that mean you can't use 2.4 products on them? Or just does all on one?

    • +1

I believe it publishes only one SSID, I can confirm when I get it set up, but that won't be for a few weeks.

      • Ok, thanks appreciate it!

  • how is this compared to Deco X90 which was $297 on office works?

  • Any one’s thoughts on this vs the PX50 kit for $408?
Just want consistent speeds throughout the house, one is a wired backhaul but only wifi 6 the other is wireless but with 6e. Currently have no 6e device
