    Thank you.
I wish the 100w version was also on sale.

Register a new account will get a better price for around $17 delivered

    • Good move might try that myself :)

    • Thanks. Bought for $17.36

    • +2

Don't they stop you from making new accounts eventually?

      • +1

Yes they'll ban you and your address.

        • +1

It's only slightly cheaper to go through the new user bonus then, no point risking it if they ban you.

          • @ldd-mn: What if we use Parcel Lockers ? Are they able to tell that it is us again?

    • and around another 4.5% with shopback/ cash rewards

  • Cheers, bought it for $17 with registering a new account.

  • +2

    Mmm

  • Can't find where it mentions of warranty. Temped

  • Any chance this is not legit at this price point?

    • +1

It's a tad cheaper than Lencent's normal price. Don't let Amazon's markup fool you.

      • +2

Damn I paid Amazon's mark up a few months ago. Worked brilliantly overseas

      • +1

At $17, the price is like half from Lencent official store in AliExpress.
        https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005425005487.html
It does loook dodgy. Is there a way to test/validate the spec/quality?

        • +3

Full price at Lencent is US$40.32 and US$42.44 at Cutesliving so the prices really aren't different.

For starters you're buying from an AliExpress "Choice" store which means the store has been verified by AliExpress and the stock is fulfilled by AliExpress. The review photos are identical to Lencent and they'd be going to an awful lot of effort to "copy" all the logos and packaging to be completely identical to Lencent.

Given there was already over 800 orders before I posted I'd be expecting a lot of bad reviews if it was a dud. There's simply more evidence to say it's legitimate than not.

        • +1

It will be the hotel and not your home at least

  • Cheers , bought one $17 new account

Always wanted a cheap GAN charger

  • I just created account it says account is disabled

    • Is this the first time you've created an account?

      • Yes

  • -1

These things need figure 8 or clover cables in.

    • No

  • Got one for $15.82 converted. Old AEXP account.

  • +1

Not this brand specific but bought similar universal charger that is exactly of this dimension and it would sag downwards and come loose in the electrical socket when linked to a device

  • At this price range it almost seems to good to be true… and you're not buying from the Lencent store, only a third-party unauthorised reseller.

    • I half expected you to try and discredit the deal. That's disappointing.

      • +1

Hard not to be skeptical but I bought another anyway :P

  • au$16.51 on old account through Paypal👍

  • $15.42 AUD on existing account. Not sure why mine is cheaper than Op

    • That would be $15.42 US not AUD?

      • +1

        Total
        AU$17.34

on existing account too, so no not USD

  • Canceled my Amazon order cheers

    • +1

      Bezos says no

      • Already got successful cancellation email =)

  • Does anyone know the output combinations?

For example, what is the output for usb-c1 when usb-c2 and usb-a1 are used?

    • +2

There is a pix on the site which will answer your question

      • I must have missed it. Can you point me to where it is?

    • Buy now, ask questions later

  • Thanks don't need it, bought one!

  • Bought one for next trip overseas but dont know when yet. Thanks

  • Ty.
    Purchased for next year

  • Only white available now

  • +1

What are AliExpress like with shipping?

    • +2

Some orders will arrive within a week, while others can be 2-4 weeks. Choice Stores usually ship quite quickly.

      • Thank you!

I'm heading overseas next Friday so fingers crossed I get it before!!!

        • +3

I'd say unlikely. The Amazon would have been better.

          • +1

@Clear: Just received it :) super quick!

  • -2

202 positive reviews for a item from aliexpress well ozbargain has changed never have minded waiting and its a good deal but im suprised you didnt get even 1 neg for sharing a product from china :s

    • +4

You'd be surprised to know how many OzBargainers are Chinese Australians 😉

      • hah yeah i know used to visit 10 years ago you would be punished harshly for posting ali deals then haha

        • +1

+100 votes for a moon cake deal is all the evidence you need lol

    • How long ago was this behaviour? People have posted those shitty iPhone and usbc cables that come out of China ever since I could remember lol

    • +2

It's going to be coming from China regardless, what's the difference?

  • +1

    Snost and lost. OOS

IMO, this charger lacks sufficient safety certification. It claimed to be FCC, CE and ROHS approved but none of these could vouch for power supply testing:

FCC is entirely about radio interference and promises nothing about product safety
CE marking does not indicate that a product have been approved as safe by the EU or by another authority
ROHS stands for “Restriction of (the use of certain) Hazardous Substances (no lead or nasty chemicals)
    Source: here, here and here

Safe chargers/power strips/batteries should have ETL/UL mark like this Ozbargain favourite Baseus 100w powerstrip. ETL records could be checked here.
I'm not engineer so happy to be corrected.

    • +2

I agree with this. Don’t think I’ll be using it unattended.

    • +2

Damn…was not aware of this! I bought this a while ago and have been using it without issue for laptops, ipads and phones, but might not leave it unattended moving forward…cheers mate!

    • +2

Noob question, having a fuse won't prevent the charger fr being fried or on fire? Thanks

Actually interested in this since it comes with 100w cable but not sure abt safety

HEYMIX 75W Universal Travel GaN, 65W GaN International Travel Adapter, 45W/30W/25W/20W PPS Universal Travel Charger, USB C Travel Adapter for iPhone, Samsung,Pixel,Laptop Type A/C/G/I (USA/UK/EU/AUS) https://amzn.asia/d/2dqOtgd

      • +1

I reckon fused adapter could be safe enough for short-termed use (travel). More safety features are needed though:
        https://www.pat-testing-training.net/articles/non-uk-plug-ad…
        https://myhelpfulhints.co.uk/news/why-you-should-never-use-t…
I’m a noob too but my research so far on this kind of universal adapters found they barely have electrical safety marks (including HEYMIX). Fuses might help with safety but these marks also tested electrical supply which affects your device’s longevity. Your HEYMIX link has previews with RCM mark (pic 2 and 4) but not sure if their claim is true. The only rare brand I found has certified authentic mark is SKROSS (Swiss brand) which has TUV mark (searchable record from TUV lab)
        https://amzn.asia/d/d1nP9Tn
As I can’t test professionally adapters nor their advertised claims/labels, validated marks are needed. I think the risk is low with fused adapters but I’d rather validated ones than cheapos.

        • Thanks for your articulated reply. Appreciate it.

    • +2

Yeah, an electrical fire waiting to happen. Not going to give it the opportunity.

      • +3

No not allowed to downvote GaN chargers on OzB

      • +2

        chinese GaN charger moment

  • No indepth reviews of the exact name but it does seem to closely, if not exactly match this model. https://youtu.be/YHpab3k7Zvg https://youtu.be/5A7xbuiyqZo Any thoughts?

    • +1

it's the same thing. these companies just buy wholesale then slap their name on. everything else is identical

    • +1

wow it goes up to 70 degrees when charging from the video test. That seems really high for a charger!

      • +1

If it's reaching 70 degrees at 65W that's not unusual for a charger. Infact it's considered normal.

        • The expert has spoken.
          Looking forward to my charger

  • will it wreck electronics and burn the house ?

    • Only if you try to set it on fire or submerge it in water.

  • +5

Just used this while traveling overseas for a fair while - worked flawlessly. It does get quite warm when under strong load (and by strong load, I mean charging 5 devices at once), but performed very well. All my friends ended up borrowing it to charge their phones and laptops too, as it had so many ports and charged super quickly. Build quality feels nice as well, which I didn't expect.

  • Ozbargained! Thanks OPn!

  • +2

Seems to be back in stock. Nabbed one. Thanks OP!

  • Would it break laptop or mobile phone? Does it have surge protection?
    Thanks

  • -1

    Is this safe?

    • -1

      is it cake?

    • +2

Probably for a short period of time, but I wouldn't be leaving it unattended.

      • -1

        Living up to your name

        • +1

          Evidence suggests otherwise

          • @Deceiver: There's no evidence that these have blown up or caught fire in the previous deals. I wouldn't recommend using them here due to them not having proper AU plugs. They're better off used overseas where the US/UK/EU plugs are more compliant. As this is afterall…. an international travel adaptor.

            • +2

@Clear: Didn't say that they had blown up or caught fire, but the fact that they just slapped "FCC, WTF, OMG approved" etc on it when the acronyms named aren't even responsible for this kind of product suggests that it's likely not the safest product…

  • +1

Note that the au plug doesn't meet Australian standards (there is supposed to be insulation on the back half of the pins)

  • insane price!

  • Anyone know if this would work in Switzerland?

    • +1

Looks like the EU adapter will be fine.

  • So, I bought the 45W version when the original 65W version deal went out of stock.

Since then there has been an avalanche of 65W versions on sale.

    Grrrrr.

  • Don't need one but in true OzBargainer fashion, I'm buying anything with 100s of upvotes.

  • I have been trying to order since last week but order gets closed due to ‘security concerns’. I tried to change payment method from PayPal to Debit card, still same issue. It seems AliExpress has problem with my VPN.

    • +1

      Yes turn off your VPN.

    • +1

Same issue here. No VPNs connected.
I faced this issue with the new account. I was able to order using my existing account.

      • +1

AliExpress are cracking down on people creating new accounts to exploit the new user discount.

VPNs get blocked due to regional pricing and products only shipping to some countries.

        • +1

Plus VPNs block China's access to your phone

          • +2

@10101010101: You gotta be pretty stupid to try and use a VPN to block AliExpress from "tracking" you when you're freely handing over your name, address, phone number, email and payment information.

  • +1

    Snagged one, thanks OP.

  • Got it for USD$13.70 here - https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005005687897000.html?spm=a2g…

Note: I noticed that if you go through shopback/cashrewards, the price increases.

    • Damn… disgusting.
