Not great in comparison to previous deals imo

      $699 TechFast deal significantly better

Mobo: MSI B450M-A PRO MAX is absolute trash tier, any bottom basement A520 board that TechFast uses still has a better VRM package and could be pushed to run a 5800X3D

SSD: extra 512GB is $20-30 worth of value. SSD's are the cheapest and simplest DIY upgrades

PSU: extra 100W but still Bronze is $10 worth of value, does not make a difference in low power builds. 750W Gold is the actual next tier up

Hard to see where BPC is pricing the extra $160 worth of value

See my previous comments for thoughts on BPC.

Still waiting for a refund for a PC that was never delivered (supposed to come 8th June).

They recently gave me store credit instead of a refund so that they could dispute my chargeback. Been a huge hassle trying to get my money back.

    • +1

      That's not great.

    • +2

That sucks, will stay far far away from BPC Tech.

    • wow that's actually pathetic customer service, I will not buy from BPC now.

    • Thanks for the info, will wait for the Nebula Deal

    • +2

BPC why don't you refund the dude???????

    • thanks for your feedback I'm looking to buy a PC and after sales support has been a key area I want to know the company can deliver in. Hope your issue is resolved soon

    • Far out, that sucks dude. Hope you get your money back soon

    • So many bad bpc reviews in last month think I'll wait for a good techfast deal

You should probably neg the deal so people are more aware.

      Hi Tendy,

Would you mind sending me your order number again? I will talk to the support team now.

And would be great if you could let me know the name of the employee you are speaking with. I will raise this issue with the management office.

      Sincerely,
      BPC Team

          Hi,

We immediately submitted the case to the support team when we got the message from Tendy regarding his order details.

But looking like a member of our support team is unwilling or unable to help our customers, I am after that person's name.

It should be a straightforward process once Startrack refunds us. We just settled into the customer account.

And once we find out the staff, I will replace the guy with someone willing and able to help our customers instead.

          Cheers,
          BPC Team

    • Hi Tendy,

We managed to locate your order based on the previous message, and the accounts team will start processing your order today.

We checked the Record of two conversations between our service team and you after the StarTrack team confirmed your parcel was lost in transit.

Based on your description, we would like to know the name of the staff, who offered you the store credit and refused to process the refund.

Once the details have been provided, an intern investigation will be conducted by the senior management team. We will update you on the result of this investigation via email.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

      Sincerely,
      BPC Team

      • I have DMed you the relevant details.

I've had positive experiences with BPC in the past. Disappointed to be experiencing this now. I hope BPC can return to the level of service that it once was.

Thanks for looking into this. Hoping to have this matter settled soon.

Don't risk your money on BPC.

They never delivered, kept ignoring me, forcing me to initiate a chargeback. The chargeback still hasn't been processed after 3 months. I can only assume it's because BPC are lying to the bank to block the chargeback.

This is for an order placed in back March.

What is it with all these undelivered orders?

Sounds like BPC have fixed their build workflow but now the couriers they are contracting are stealing the PC's mid-delivery

      • After reading Tendy & Bgorgor comments @ OzBargain, I too share your logical-deduction.

Tendy did noted that BPC 'gave me store credit' @ this post, while Bgorgor was silent regarding store-credit.

FYI, BPC also lost & now endure bad coverage.

      • who would have thought when you employ people who've recently arrived from poor countries, where corruption is a norm, and then put them into SUB-minimum wage jobs with high pressure deadlines that they would STEAL ?

    • Every order for PC parts over the last 5 years have arrived for me. I always go through PayPal and/or ebay - probably cause if there's a dispute I wreak havoc :)

    • Can't you call the police or something for help? Or fair trade department for the issue? Just wondering…

    • Hi Bgorgor,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind telling us the order number via chat and I will look into it now?

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

Thanks for looking like you're trying to do something.

I will give you one chance, if this doesn't end with me getting my money back I will link to this post in all your future deals.

  • I only had one experience with BPC and that was a PC purchase last month. Delivery was prompt (within a week) and the case was secured by alot of foam. Haven't had any issue with the build quality and the Starfield Premium promo code was emailed to me shortly after delivery.

Maybe BPC have fixed its previous ways?

    • I don’t think they’ve fixed much considering the comments above.

    @BPC Technology
    Any upcoming deals on 4070, 6800/xt, 6950?
    anything ~1200-1500?

After we fixed the issue with our support team, then the deal goes on :)

      Cheers,

  • We are really happy with our BPC purchase from April. Perfect build, accommodated slight change after order placed, and easy to pick up from the Eastern suburbs of Melbs.

  • I made a order with PBC last year trying to buy a laptop, then I regret and send message to them, BPC Refund me within 2weeks. dont known what happen to these customrr but my experience with PBC is good. 🤣

  • I bought one 4070Ti build from BPC this February, and it's ready for pick-up in 1 week, and it's working good by now.
Maybe the courier has some problems.
recommended If you can pick up.

    • +1

So took 5 months to be ready for pickup? This comment and the two above it are sus.

      • -3

        lol, can you read?

        • You comment literally says you bought it in February and its ready for pick up in 1 week (i.e. its ready now in August).

Perhaps you meant to write it was ready for pick up within 1 week.

          • +3

@lucisvivae: It's broken English, the comment is stating that the purchase was made in February, that it took one week before it was ready for him to pick it up (from the purchase date), and its currently working well.

            • @GachaGamer: Figured as much after his second comment.

For what it is worth, I recently ordered from BPC on Monday 7 August a slightly customised order on which they did a great deal (not quite as good as the 6800 deal they had previously but a balanced system with a 3070ti and i12400f). I would normally build my own but have not done so for about 6 years and was frankly shocked at component prices versus the prebuilts on offer from bpc or techfast. The customer service guy for BPC here on ozbargain is great and very responsive.

It just arrived two hours ago very well packaged and everything is installed correctly, nice cable management, boots into bios fine and temps etc look normal. They did not ship the case I was expecting but have used a slightly better case which saves me from having to buy some case fans which I was expecting to do this weekend. Currently in process of installing the os, then will run my own burn in, install software etc and just monitor for the next few weeks like I would with a build I had completed myself. Based on my experience I am a very happy customer so far.
