Was only able to get 100mb, activated and tested, 25mb gone just opening google and ozbargain!?

    • No yet activated 1GB. Activated and tested 100MB, says 28MB/100MB gone on app. while it says only 5.3 MB gone on mobile.

      • I got similar things

  • I'm about to go to Europe and need a travel Sim. So this is 1gb free and then I top up 1gb at a time? I'll be in Greece so 1gb = €3. Which seems pretty good, right?

Anyone know if this can be used to port out and in to BOOST mobile ??

    Thanks OP, nice find .

Could someone confirm that one could put in the TRAVELDEALZ code into the app and not activate yet? I am thinking about traveling late Oct

step five is a little confusing, as step 3 outlines you have to click ACTIVATE, but step 5 outlines "If you activate".

Is there another activation step required to activate it "under the available TARIFF at the top"

    1. After successful registration, switch to the Profile tab and click on Settings

    2. Scroll down a little further in the settings and click on Add a Promocode

    3. Enter the code in the coupon field TRAVELDEALZand click Activate

    4. Go to the Data Plans tab and click the +

    5. The TRAVELDEALZ tariff is now available at the top. If you activate it, you have 1 GB of data volume for one month, e.g. B. Activation available on August 10th → until September 10th.

    • A comment from the author under the article says you can enter the promo code and then activate the plan down the track under the "+" button. Now, what I'm not sure about is whether the code redeemed correctly when I haven't yet started my 100MB plan or downloaded the eSIM. I'll just have to hope it shows up under the available plans when I start using it.

    • Can confirm, I tested adding the eSIM to my phone and the 1GB plan is available for me to start using at any time from the + button.

      • So just to confirm, you can click on the '+' to add the eSim to your phone. And once you've done that, you then need to perform another action to start using the 1GB?Just double checking as am looking to use the 1GB when in Japan end of Oct. So if it only lasts a month, don't want to activate it too soon.

        • Apply promo code under Profile. Then there's nothing else to do until you need to download the eSIM to your phone, and start the plan under the + button when you travel.

          • @Techie4066: No worries. Have applied the promo code under profile but of course there doesn't seem to be a way to confirm it's applied without adding the eSim to the phone. The app is currently saying to add an eSim. So I could click on the plus to add the eSim and then later click it again to activate the 1GB?
Though I'm happy enough to wait until closer to when I fly out and just do it all then.

  • Thank you OP. Worked for me.

Also looks like a great sim for Europe.

  • Thanks OP, just in time for my next month travel.

  • Shame HK and Taiwan aren’t listed

  • No indonesia for the bali bogans. Me included =[

  • Doesn't show in my Data Plans. Will check again later.

  • Anyone knows how to secure the deal for My iphone 11 which is not e-sim? I am waiting for iphone 15 next month and planning to go overseas in Jan

    • +1

      iPhone 11 does support eSIM
      https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT212780

      • Ahhh must be my provider blocking it then.

      • When I open the App it warns me “Your device is eSIM incompatible or locked by your provider”. I am with Boost prepaid

        • Must be a china version iPhone "eSIM on iPhone is not offered in China mainland"

          • @rpb: Good catch! My iphone 11 was purchased in Hong Kong tho.

I think they've updated the terms as it now says in step 5:

"The TRAVELDEALZ tariff is now available at the top. If you activate it, you have 1 GB of data volume for one year, e.g. B. Activation available on August 10, 2023 → until August 10, 2024."

    https://travel-dealz.de/gutschein/redbull-mobile/

    • Tried to select the 1GB as shown in the website but it shows the validity is one month only

  • thanks OP!!
Just payed over 100 to Boost for a datarate of 18 Bits per sec in India!
This one is dearer but works like a song!

  • Hope this deal is still alive during Dec.

  • Thanks op! Needed a solution for a few days in the US and this deal is perfect timing! Works great 👍

  • Although my device is incompatible I have installed an eSim.me sim card that should make it work with esims. Unfortunately I cannot get past the device incompatible check. I've written to support to find out if there's a way around this.

  • eSim wokred since 16/08 but now no service. Everything activated (both 100mb and 1gb).

  • Just discovered Red Bull roams on Boost and is on full telstra network.

For 7 Euro a year, a Telstra back up SIM is a great deal IMO, especially when you live in the city and only need Telstra occasionally

  • Installed sim, service connected, enabled mobile data and roaming, set APN as "webapn.at", but still no internet, anything else to do?

    • What’s APN?

    • Just wait for one or two hours and it should work. I just used the default VPN in my case.

      • works, but after 2 days

  • Thanks op. Got one. What’s the currency showing under bundles and plans? Can we pay through Australia credit cards?

  • Activated esim, enabled data roaming for that Sim on my pixel 6, and had data within a minute in London. eSIM has worked in a few different EU countries since. Cheers!

  • Worked great in Japan for me

  • is this expired?

    • Worked okay for me just then.

Thought it was expired until I released I missed the step of pressing + after first activating the 100MB included data.
Then you can add the TravelDealz plan that comes up

      • Great. All good now

  • Worldwide roaming with eSIM directly from our app
It’s easy to use and works in more than 60 countries

There are more countries than that worldwide

the most convenient way of staying connected while traveling.

There are more convenient way of staying connected while traveling like not having to buy data in every country you visit, like with Eskimo

  • Currently getting "Too many requests" when I try to add an esim.

Also the main page after logging in says "Subscription does not exist or is deactivated".

  • Still working, just signed up.

  • did any one manage to get the sim to work? I have installed the sim, redemmed codes etc, did all the steps (data roaming etc) it shows active on my phone but is not am not getting any internet. I was flying out to thailand tomorrow for a week, thought it would be useful as compared to paying 5usd to Airalo

    • Any update?

      • +1

Works fine. It was my new pixel 8 causing issues. Can confirm the one GB data offer is still valid

  • tested, it worked. By default it's 100MB, then you need to add the TRAVELDEALS plan to get 1GB for $0.

  • +2

This wouldnt work with mine. After entering code, it says hmm something went wrong.

    • Having the same issue, did you end up getting it to work?
I'm trying to enter the promo code before I activate the esim, maybe I should hit the + and add an esim first?

      • +1

I think i did. It ended up going through even though it gave you that error. Try restarting the app or relogging back in.

  • I just activated. Its 100 mb now?

  • Still works! Saved me - travelling to Saudi Arabia where Boost don’t offer roaming. Activated this eSim in KL while in transit. Ends up with 1.1gb (100mb free as standard, plus 1gb from traveldealz). Used very sparingly, it will get me through 10 days when out of wifi.

For those who get no internet- you need to activate roaming in the eSim.

  • +3

Additional 1GB available via code REDBULLSURVEY. See here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/828970

    • Is this code still valid? I'm having trouble applying it.

      • My guess is it no longer works based on feedback in the other post.
I can’t test it as i already used it.

  • +1

I mistakenly put this under the referral promo box instead of under settings and now I can't do it again. No matter if i deleted my account and signed up again with a different email address it still sees me as an existing customer and won't let me put this code in. I also don't see this promo anywhere :( Any ideas how to fix this?

    • Same here, can't seem to find a fix

  • No hongkong:(

  • Any ideas if this works for countries listed on the website but not in the list of 60 above?
The website clearly says "Red Bull MOBILE Data is available for over 100 countries" and includes for example Singapore and HK but they're not in the 60 in the post.

  • Anyone tried to create multiple accounts when expired with different usernames? Does it work?

  • For those who have issue entering the promo code on android. You can try adding free data plan with 100mb. Once the plan is activated you can then add a new plan. The promo 1GB will show up as one of the plan.

    • This worked for me cheers. Had to actually use some of the 100mb (set phone to use it for mobile data and turn on roaming). Once I did that the code worked from the settings menu and the 1gb plan came on the plan list.

  • Also getting the "something went wrong" error. Any ideas?

    • Did you add/create the esim? On Android the code wouldn't add until I did that.

      • Yea I did, ended up just deleting the app and going with a different provider.

  • +2

Although Malaysia is missing from the list, I can say that this eSIM works in Malaysia since I am now using it in Malaysia.

    • +2

Yep - I found this deal and activated it all using free wifi at KLIA.

    • +1

They added support for Malaysia some time after the OP was made
