It says the term is One year. Not much point in getting a domain for one year if other terms do not match the requirements.
Looking elsewhere people who signed up with 'free' emails seem to have taken longer to get authorized than others. The offer has been going at least 4 days already it would seem.

Dont be too sure. I think the way it works is they will auction the domain name should there be multiple claims - and that's where they make the money. If your domain name is unique to you, consider yourself lucky.

If you plan to dispose of it eventually, there are websites that pay you commission to setup disposable e-mails using your domain. Then you can tell your grandchildren (probably living on spaceships or on Mars) that your domain was put on block lists along with mailinator.com, 10minutemail.com, and all the others. Maybe go for freesubwaydeal.asia and see how long it takes to get blocked.

Domain privacy is not supposed to be available with .ASIA domains, from any provider, it's compulsory to have the registrant info public. Looks like Crazydomains are dodging it somehow but the registant name is still included. Not worth $7.

I test it out & find that you can ONLY get 1 FREE domain_name.asia PER unique IP address.

It's $12 p/a as I tried registering the Asia domain from within the crazy domains domain name manager. I assume this must be the renewal cost too as you pay $12 per year and you can specify how many years.
You should be able to transfer it out if other companies charge less, or give free privacy etc. I never looked at .asia before this offer.
