Hot and spicy goes well for Bloody Mary's
No s&s so will pick up a couple from woolies.

  • Dint know they had a hot & spicy juice variety. Will be handy to get ur body ready, before heading to the spicy land

    • +5

      My body is always ready.

    • Not sure if referring to seggs or pooping

The best one is purple power because that's your cheapest ticket to beetroot juice, especially since Woolworths stopped selling the proper beetroot juice from Germany. But Amazon does not have the purple power.

(QLD) For anyone nearby: Golden Circle outlet in QLD (Capalaba) currently has a carton of 6 for $14 - limited selection of flavours, but plenty of boxes of the Golden Glow flavour as of yesterday.

fruit juice with veggies.. yea.. no

    • +1

You'd be surprised. Most of them just taste like fruit juice.

The pineapple passionfruit sweet potato one actually tastes better than any reconstituted fruit juice you can get at the supermarket. Including the usual all-fruit ones. It's delicious. Less fructose than them too.

Not as tasty or healthy as the Nudie freshly squeezed, and eating real fruit and drinking water is always healthier, but these are a decent option.

  • things are starting to sell out quick

Wonder how much sugar these have….. Probably as much as soft drinks.

    • I just wonder if it's healthy

    • -1

yep mostly about the same - I think there are a few which aren't too bad, but the majority are close to that 10g/100mL mark.

      • +1

The veg ones are fine, check out spicy v8.
Otherwise just eat fruit instead of any fruit juice, in general.

Everyone scared of carbs and sugar but happily smash saturated fat and cholesterol.

Packed in Australia with less than 10% Australian ingredients - country of origin unknown! Could be coming out of China!

    • +2

Bring back the Aussie made V8s!

    • +1

      4tsp sugar per serve yikes!

      • +3

It's reconstituted sugar, not as bad as full sugar :p

    • almost definitely made in Australia.

      maybe China

  • That was quick , al OOS except tropical

  • +2

    Remember its a reconstituted juice

  • +5

Reconstituted juice and fresh juice are both made from fruits, but they are processed differently. Reconstituted juice is made from a juice concentrate that has been diluted with water. The juice concentrate is created by evaporating most of the water from the fresh juice. This process destroys some of the nutrients and enzymes in the juice. Fresh juice is made by squeezing the fruit and drinking it immediately. This preserves the most nutrients and enzymes.

Here is a table comparing the nutritional value of reconstituted juice and fresh juice:

    Nutrient Reconstituted Juice Fresh Juice
Vitamin C 50% of the amount in fresh juice 100% of the amount in fresh juice
Potassium 80% of the amount in fresh juice 100% of the amount in fresh juice
Folate 60% of the amount in fresh juice 100% of the amount in fresh juice
Antioxidants 40% of the amount in fresh juice 100% of the amount in fresh juice

    • Hi ChatGPT.

      • +1

        Sorry that was bard.

  • So reconstituted juice is not good, event thought its health star rated as 5?

    • -2

?? any 'juice is not good', just natures sugar water

      • Wrong, just be aware of added sugar, natural sugar is fine. The reason fruit is healthier than fruit juice is that a lot of the fibre is removed. Another reason why smoothies are better than juices etc.

Juice is still a better option than soft drinks and booze and other crap.

    • +3

Health star ratings are rubbish. Read up on nutrition and you will see it is flawed

Nature's sugar is fine when it is consumed with fibre. For example eating an orange not just drinking fresh oj

The fibre stops you from consuming too much

Prefer fresh juice over reconstituted juice. Prefer fresh meat over frozen meat. Prefer fresh veggies over frozen veggies.

      • In an ideal world..

Some people don't realise frozen veg are snap-frozen at time of picking, so can in fact be fresher.

        Fresh-dead meat lol.

  • Great price… this is one of my household staples. Alas, as much as I love a bargain, this means that the shelves will in all likelihood be stripped bare by the time I get there.

  • -1

Woolworths home brand juice is pretty much the same and you get 2L for this price, regular price.

  • I find it funny that Amazon cancelled my 'subscribe and save' for this item yesterday…

    • Didn't even see that option for these and easier to pick up a few from woolies anyway.

Good, they did ya a favour - s&s is very rarely as good a price after the initial time, extra effort cancellig them all.

  • Tropical available again at Amazon (backorder).

    Edit 19/8: Gone

  • Green back in stock. Apple backorder.

    • was finna grab 3 green anyway since i dont see that one at woolies
