        When I bought some Activ Visa eGift Cards using PayPal as a payment method there was no issue, but I had to refresh the page after applying the code otherwise the payment couldn't go through.

      It depends (and I am going to assume you are referring to the Coles Mastercard gift card, not the various Coles Mastercard credit cards).

      In past promotions, it has not been possible to directly use physical and digital Coles Mastercard gift cards as a payment method, as it has been declined by InComm (the owner of the Coles Mastercard gift card scheme). Considering Coles Mastercard gift cards have worked at other merchants using MCC 5947 (which should be the MCC used by Giftz.com.au, based on my past transactions), it appears that InComm has chosen to block Giftz.com.au as a merchant.

      Having said that, if you link a Coles Mastercard gift card to your PayPal account, you should be able to then use PayPal as the payment method at checkout with the Coles Mastercard gift card as the payment source. Some advice if you want to go down this path:

      • After you apply the coupon code to the order, refresh the checkout page. If you do not do this, Giftz.com.au may ask PayPal whether the full cost of the gift cards (before applying the coupon code) can be charged to your Coles Mastercard gift card, which would be a problem if you want to use this deal to use up every last cent on your Coles Mastercard gift card. (At least that is the consensus from the previous deal I linked to above.)

      • I had one Coles Mastercard gift card refuse to appear as a payment source on the PayPal screen when checking out on Giftz.com.au, yet another Coles Mastercard gift card appeared when I linked that.

      The big assumption I have made when writing this comment is that InComm has not blocked PayPal payments to Giftz.com.au on Coles Mastercard gift cards after the recent Activ Visa Father’s Day gift card deal…

    T&C says can be used for multiple orders so perhaps they have turned off till 9am

      It was a glitch so we added more stock after 9am once we realised this had occured but the new stock allocation also exhausted very quickly.

            @AustinBlack: Would you really say $50,000 is ‘plenty’? Eg Could be as few as 50 people buying $1000 for a short trip away.

            You’ve run promotions with $100,000 AIRBNB limits or unlimited for other company gift cards previously.

    For the luxury escapes gift card.

    "Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase airfares, insurance or any other ancillary products or services not included in a featured package." does this mean gift card cannot be used to pay for the flight if you get hotel and then add the flight ?

    I had a %10 off from my credit card and it only applied it to the hotel and not airfare.

    Also can 2 gifts be used to pay for the purchase. $1000 and a $200 for example?
