      I was considering a Tab S9 and spoke to a bunch of chat agents who could do nothing more than point me to the enewsletter voucher or existing offers. They must get given a particular allocation for particular products. For example, they had a 15% of TVs offer that ONLY applied through chat, and only if you ALREADY HAVE a Samsung TV haha. Bizarre.

  You can get the 10% from a phone call or email. You can get $300 by default. So you'll still pay a little more, but doable.

Dang, I bought the phone yesterday with normal discounts 300 trade in bonus. I was actually sent a $500 trade in bonus code, will have to call Samsung on Monday to see if this can be fixed / applied.

So ..

I don't know why my prices are so different to yours.

I select Samsung Ultra 23, 256 gb model.

$1649 - $500 - $100 - 10% off - $50 (Trade in) = $839.10.

Looking at the invoice and the CB it mentions - $762.82, which sounds right..

Turns out there is a GST component.. $76.28 charged which brings it back up to 839.1

is that correct???? Cause according everyone else.. I should be getting it cheaper.. but I got charged $839.10

Can someone help me figure this out.. is everyone else quoting their non-gst "base price" or are y'all quoting your actual charge?

  Here is the calculation..
  
  1949 - 300 (current discount) - 300 (extra trade in bonus) - 200 (targeted extra bonus) - 50 (Trade in) - 100 ($100 welcome discount) - (1599 * 10%) (10% off loyalty discount) = $839.10
  
  Does it seem high to you guys? Given that it should be starting from "S23 Ultra from $834.10" and I would have assumed it would be - $50 off that so.. 784.10 ..

      I probably could have got it for a bit cheaper but I couldn't be bothered playing with all the discount codes and playing russian roulette with cashrewards.
      
      I will trade in a S21 that I bought 2 years ago for $450ish.. Trade in credit was $265.. so effectively $100/yr for a phone. I got my money's worth and look forward to the behemoth that is the Ultra :)

      That’s how I did for my $1 trade in. $1,649. Add $300 trade in discount 1,349. Add 10% then add $200 extra trade in discount came to $984. Then add $100 and then $50 to $834

Finally bit the bullet and nabbed an S23+ 256GB for $326.36 (after CashRewards).

YMMV, but any newsletter code would get removed at the Trade-Up questionnaire page, so the price above was showing $309 and switched to $359 (before CR).

Hopefully someone smarter than me can get the extra $50 off. But I'm happy with the price, given that I've been itching for better battery life for a while now.

P.S. Asurion charges the entire trade-in value ($440 for my S22 256GB) upfront and requires photo ID as images (bit dodgy I think), in case anyone is wondering.

      Yeah it's strange that the 10% off code didn't work, but the 15% off code did. It works out cheaper to stack the other codes so I'm hoping they can fix it.

  I am guessing maybe someone else exercised the 14day change of mind return, and that's why they had no delay.
  The change of mind is only if phone is not opened and all seals intact so it's in a re-saleable condition

Picked up a 128 S23 in Graphite only stock left - 5-6 week wait :( but only paid 300.60 :)))

Got $265 trade in on my S21, 10% loyalty bonus (emailed loyalty and they called me back then sent it by email). Then $100 loyalty code from live chat. $50 sign up bonus and the $300 tradein. That's $800 worth of discounts on a $1100 phone.

About to pull the trigger on an S23 Ultra - either 256 or 512. I have a S20 FE 5G but the $120 trade in is not worth it so i'm going to just do some $1 earphones

Total price after stacking everything

S23 Ultra 512 Phantom Black - $1,103.20
S23 Ultra 256 Phantom Black - $833.20

I guess is the 512 worth the $270 premium? I understand it has double the storage and more RAM - although I doubt the difference from 8GB to 12GB RAM will be very significant since i'm not gaming on the phone

  I quickly googled is the 512 worth the extra , responses were performance wise, there is no difference, so supposedly the 8GB vs 12GB isn't an issue, but buy if you need the 512GB.
  I was rushing and did not do a detailed research though, if you or anyone finds out there's actually a significant performance difference either in general or with certain apps/games let us know

Now debating whether to get the Plus or Ultra… oh man. So hard. Don't necessarily need the S-Pen but the bigger and higher res screen and more RAM has me intrigued. But then it's a more boxy design and less comfortable to hold.
