NK News: Reduced Annual (US$99.99) and Monthly (US$9.99) Subscriptions for Specialist Information on North Korea

180

I am very certain this is a niche deal, but thought I’d share anyways in case someone is interested.

NK News is probably the most reputable information source on North Korea, with many known analysts on their team. It is a private organisation located outside of NK.

They offer a subscription for some of their content, which you can get at a discounted price using this link.

Again, very niche and I am sure this post will be filled with NK memes, comments and so on. But maybe there are other people fascinated by this country here that see value in this deal.

@mods I am not sure if this is the right category. Don’t think “entertainment” fits well, so I chose “other”

Kim Jong Ill approves this deal.

    • The eternal general secretary!

Damn capitalism. People can read it free in NK, why do I have to pay here?

In case the comment is serious: this is not KCNA (actual NK state media). NK News is a private organisation, more like a think tank, that prepared news for a foreign audience and offers deep dives.

So it is not approved by the supreme leader anyway.

        • +2

No. To get the goss from up north directly, visit KCNA’s official website.

Basically KCNA = everything is awesome
NK News = everything is not awesome

So why would I pay for private organisation with an agenda. I prefer propaganda right from the source thanks, not some foreign devil's message.

        • +2

Yes I read on newspapers our supreme leader will land us on Mars by 2025. Where we will terraform it for the glory of NK, and everyone will have all the land and food we deserve, while the western dogs will die on Earth.

          Fighting! 💖

  • I can vouch for NK News creditability. I work in the same building as them in Seoul. Their podcast host is also a well known Australian in South Korea.

Best in the business. Greetings from Busan

      • Let me know if you ever come to Seoul. My organisation hosts many Australian themed events and activities.
