    Just got back from Bali, the traffic situation there is diabolic.
    The 10km ride from the airport to our hotel in Canggu was just under 2 hours. The 3km taxi from Canggu to Seminyak was 45mins.
    Personally, I'd skip Bali and go anywhere else for this reason.

        Even less, probably about 45min to an hour depending on your pace.

      What time was that? Our taxi from the airport to Seminyak was about 45mins around 9.30pm. Also for shorter rides (if you're not carrying luggage), best to travel via bike. Cheaper and much faster even if you're in a group - only ~$1-$1.50 per person per ride. We didn't have any issues with traffic.

        end up on the news begging for money cause your travel insurance wont cover the medical cost from the bike accident.

          I don't bother riding but jumping on the back of a gojek is by far the quickest way and you rarely hear of accidents.
          Just tell the driver to go steady and safely and he won't fang it around all the cars.

            @sktzr: Yep we used both gojek and grab bike. They are generally pretty good with driving safely for tourists but if you are worried you can definitely tell them. They're all very friendly
