      amber? I would watch

He also released a photo/vid of another partner showing her Cesarean scar & couldn't understand why she got upset with him.

He's such a "How do you do fellow kids" kinda guy.
Man has been married, had kids, got divorced and seen other women since he dated amber, yet still kept those pictures.
So (profanity) weird that the dude is 52 years old and still got the mentality of a teen.

      • +14

Even the books summary calls him out on that.

He developed into a tough yet vulnerable man-child, prone to abrupt Jekyll-and-Hyde mood swings, with an exceedingly high tolerance for risk, a craving for drama, an epic sense of mission, and a maniacal intensity that was callous and at times destructive.

If his personality is such that he is unable to ascertain the inappropriateness of some of the crap he pulls, even when it is pointed out to him then why should he or anyone else, for that matter, receive a free pass?

Btw, I'd be curious on your opinion on people like Pol Pot or Stalin is, considering you've never met them. Want about Biden?.

@Tacosaurus Rex: Hmm. Very Intresting read. Hitlers govt was very similiar to china where the economy is capitalist but the government is leftist. The capitalism was in total control of the govt.

The bigger issue still remains, i.e. crusading. Crusading against specific set of people or a person should be discouraged. There is only one possible outcome of crusading and that is absolute power. And thats why we should be careful about demonizing anyone, be it musk or marx because if we get our wish and eradicate them from our society, we would open up a avenue to eradicate anyone by mere crusading…logic takes back seat with crusading.
And internet and this thread has become a crusaders palace in a way.
Some crusade with points by voting negative on comments and some by writing comments. But crusading this is.

                      • +5

@Blatantlie: Fascism and totalitarianism are not ideologies of left wing politics. But this has nothing to do with “crusading”. Nobody else is saying we eradicate anybody except your post. Musk has done more than enough to warrant his criticism.

@Blatantlie: I wonder how stating a fact without taking sides can earn downvotes.
I probably don't care much about one person, but the whole super passionate person bashing here is ridiculous.

Hitler came into power because jews were similiarly demonized. Pol pot came into power because Chinese, vietnamese and chams were demonized.

Crusading always and always results in only one thing - dictatorship, poverty and breakdown of society.

Because half the population are emotionally driven. They don't really care about facts, they see something that disagrees with their existing world view and they try to shut it down.

                      • +3

@1st-Amendment: I think you have very perfectly summed up your own posts. They are very emotionally driven, especially given the enormous number of posts you make whenever someone raises a topic you disagree with. They are often full of personal abuse as well. Right now I’m commenting on your behaviour, not you as a person.

                        • @try2bhelpful:

especially given the enormous number of posts you make whenever someone raises a topic you disagree with

Another logic error. You've somehow equated number of posts with a level of emotion?
Please explain this connection so we may understand how you drew that bizarre conclusion?

Right now I’m commenting on your behaviour, not you as a person.

And avoiding the subject, because you're in a logical hole and can't figure a way out. It's called cognitive dissonance and it entirely expected behaviour when your ideas don't stand up to scrutiny.

Which is where deductive logic comes in. It determines the difference, and it doesn't care what you believe.

                          • @1st-Amendment: We agree, it is just your arguments that lack the logic. This is shown by the fact you keep posting over and over again rather than thinking your existing arguments stand on their own.

it is just your arguments that lack the logic.

Something logical or not because you say so. Simply claiming this in itself is not logical.

This is shown by the fact you keep posting over and over again rather than thinking your existing arguments stand on their own.

In logic this is called the non-sequitur logical fallacy.

Dictators need a reason to crusade against something or someone. Doesn't matter what it is in reality.

You're making the mistake of trying to have a rational discussion with an irrational emotionally fragile child. Media/Social Media told him to believe something and he believes it. These types of people are cannot be reasoned with.

                            • @1st-Amendment: Funnily enough Hitler complained about the Jewish businessman as well. If you want to talk about emotional children have a look at people like Musk. They really don’t like their world views challenged. Neither do you guys.

                          • @1st-Amendment: No, I’ve pointed out the similarities. In both cases the attacks began on the influence the Jewish people have in areas of finance and commerce. My original point was valid as well. You don’t need to know someone to assess how they are behaving in public. I’m not sure why you guys are getting so upset at some person challenging your views on a bargain website.

                            • @try2bhelpful:

No, I’ve pointed out the similarities.

No, you made up some stuff then proved a link which contained nothing to support it.

In both cases the attacks began on the influence the Jewish people

You are yet to provide any evidence that Elon is 'attacking Jewish people'. And despite having zero evidence you compared him to Hitler. It truly is a bizarre leap of logic which makes you look a little unhinged.

You don’t need to know someone to assess how they are behaving in public

Well you should be able to provide evidence to support your view and you are so far incapable of doing that. You're just moaning about someone you really know nothing about based on media stories. That is a terrible way to draw a conclusion on someone's personality.

I’m not sure why you guys are getting so upset at some person challenging your views

Why do you think I'm upset? This yet another demonstration of you jumping to conclusion with zero evidence.
I embrace the challenging of my views. Can you say the same thing? The first step to challenging views is to provide objective evidence, something fundamental to any rational discussion, yet you don't seem to understand.

When Elon Musk was a kid in South Africa, he was regularly beaten by bullies. One day a group pushed him down some concrete steps and kicked him until his face was a swollen ball of flesh.

He was in the hospital for a week.

But the physical scars were minor compared to the emotional ones inflicted by his father, an engineer, rogue, and charismatic fantasist.

    • +44

Even though he had an ass for a father, Elon made a choice as to whether to also be an idiot or not & he chose the former

@[Deactivated]: Probably because a bunch of envious dicks couldn’t make the simple choice to ignore a rich dude and instead chose to talk about him ad nauseam in a desperate attempt to appear important themselves.

            • @Lps: Who did?

        Former means first.

        Latter means second.

        You mean latter.

When Elon Musk was a kid in South Africa, he was regularly beaten by bullies. One day a group pushed him down some concrete steps and kicked him until his face was a swollen ball of flesh.

The brain damage explains a lot.
