          in the end, they couldn't honour it for me. they offered best price of $US162.50 each for DHL shipping and $US157.5 for non-DHL shipping.

        I had a long chat with the representative online and understand that they are a new store and are trying to build up some reputation and collect some good feedback on Aliexpress, so assured me of the "quality service" (that I assume means prompt despatch and a free screen protector).

        I hope I do receive my tab soon !

          I've been spending way too much time trying to purchase Ainol tablets today haha. I don't think you will be getting the Fire tablet, he mentioned he made a big mistake. The ad was suppose to be for Tornado model instead. He said Fire model was 188. So he mentioned he is going to get you to cancel it.

          Thats what he said to me

          The store where you bought from. I ended up buying tablets from two different stores, both of which stuffed it up for me.

          Definitely check your order is ok with that guy Brucee. Maybe he just didn't want to give me the price

          Yeah I just received an email from Brucee ..saying they can not fulfill my order….So I am requesting a cancellation of order now :(

          Need to go to some reputed seller…One of the Ozbargainers recommended Elijah as a store on Aliexpress…might give them a try.

    Just got the 7" Ainol tablet…. I wonder if it comes with a protective sleve….. ;)

    Anyway, seriously. I just did buy it. For $100 I thought why not. Anyone find out if they are actually in stock or is it a pre order?

        Got contacted by Alice from Lightake and advised they'll get stock on the 15th of October and ship from that date.

          Release has been pushed back a week because they found an issue with the IPS screen when they started production.

          I'm worried that the 45 day Paypal protection is going to run out way before I get the product…

      Anyone got theirs yet… I got sent the email as well, but I paid extra for DHL shipping and while they sent me a tracking number, it still hasn't come up on the DHL tracking site with that number.. I am very dubious it has even been sent..

        I'm in the same boat mate. Paid the extra $10 to get it shipped sooner, have the number but nothing shows up on the DHL site.

        Personally if nothing has shown up by Friday I'll contact lighttake.

          I contacted them already but there is some holiday season/festival on and they are only back at work tomorrow I think. I am hoping that the same goes for the DHL staff, so it just means nothing has been put into the system as yet, but probably means it also wont even start it's journey until tomorrow, so probably arrive Monday or Tuesday next week.

          It's my understanding that the package travels from Lightake's warehouse in mainland China to Hong Kong. From there it gets put into the DHL system and it shows up in tracking for the first time.

          The problem is the initial trip to Hong Kong. The border is only open for freight in normal business hours (daytime). I also think it's closed on public holidays (National holiday the last two days).

          I was expecting the tracking to come online today but so far that hasn't happened :(
          Once DHL has the package in HK, it shouldn't take more than a day or so to get here.
