      You don't need an apple device, there is an Apple Music app for android or windows pc. There is also music videos.

    For those who have YouTube Premium via Türkiye, the YT Music app is decent enough and has all the same songs.

    I would just recommend making a second profile for just music, which you do by making a new channel under your account under the profile name you want.

    I selfhost a music library on my server with 3000 albums, but I still end up using YT Music on the fly.

      YT Music is servicable for sure, it's amongst the worst music streaming platforms as a music service though. Spotify is leagues ahead, but even then, Apple Music is my favourite for MUSIC and a MUSIC service. App wise, Spotify is my favourite due to continue listening on device feature which is incredible, and the basics of following artists, seeing concert dates/alerts, new song notifications, special artist made playlists etc.

      If you are literally just listening to your own music files, none of this really matters.

          I'm assuming you're an Android user so my next question is, why would anyone use YT Music when you have xManager?
          I just had a look at the Dance/House/EDM charts and it's garbage at best.

        I don't think I personally know anyone that uses Apple Music, including iPhone users. Spotify tends to be the default, but hey, each to their own, does it really matter? As long as it does what you need :)
        For me, there is no way I'd bother changing after all these years.
        I have however used Apple Music in the past (free trial) purely on my Xbox for music videos, which is neat for when you have a get together.

      Use everything other than YT.
      Their "premium" quality is worse than free tier.

      YT Music premium offers AAC 256kbps however YT's AAC encoder is very bad and the output is inferior than Opus 160kbps that's available for all.
      YT will even re-encode your uploaded files!
      In terms of AAC encoder quality, Apple's CoreAudio AAC encoder is one of the best (thus the AAC 256kbps version is very close to lossless).

      Use Spotify if you prefer the UI.
      Use AM if you would like to have an organised library and maybe Spatial Audio etc.

                @mostlygordon: Might be because you took similar Shazam offers in the past.
                The URL is a deep link/registered URL scheme Shazam used to redirect visitors to Apple Music app and it should be the same for everyone.
                It seems Apple decided you are not eligible for this offer lol. Maybe next time.
                My account works, got 2 months and iirc I participated 2-3 times in the past.

    I got a "1 month free trial and 2 months free". Total, 3 months free then 19.99 turkish lira per month". I was signed into my turkish profile so it wouldnt work and told me it was only available for AU and NZ. Signed out of my turkish profile and into my aussie one and now it says "2 month offer and $12.99 a month starting 2nd Dec". Set a reminder to cancel. Thanks OP, will try out apple music.

          Thanks for the suggestion. :) Really, I'm not an Apple fan of their proprietary system. Yes, they make very good products, but during the day, the only time I listen to music is when I'm in my car, which only accepts a 64G USB input, or through Bluetooth. As my iPod mini has a 64G capacity, and I only use it sparingly, even though I can download over 5,000 songs, and driving with earphones is illegal, I will continue with the freebies as long as I can. Currently on Amazon free Unlimited for another 6 weeks or so. Might see what else comes up.

In fact, I don't advise doing it with AirPods pro specifically because from what I heard Apple doesn't exactly refurbish it for hygiene reasons but possibly do it with the AirPods Max since it's just a cover change. It just so happens that I wanted to test out the AirPods max and pros at certain points to see which one was for me and then returned it to the apple store once I found a good deal on what I wanted. No trouble at all but I just noticed it kept giving me it everytime I wanted it a test.

    I was able to redeem this twice on my iphone. First time by clicking through the deal link (Shazam app not installed). Got 2 months. Then when my subscription ran out redeemed a second time by installing Shazam app and accepting the offer in the app itself (in the settings tab). Got another 2 months.
