  How does this compare to the $6US droplet in Sydney? Obviously doesn't come with cPanel, but assume we already have our own server panel.

    It's not really in the same category so it's not possible to make a direct comparison.

    Our Business hosting also includes Hourly Acronis off-site backups, cPanel, App installers, Local support, Email hosting, Mailchannels egress, etc so a lot of value is included in the price.

    The reality is that cPanel hosting is more for people who don't want the overhead of managing their own server/droplet and want a hosting company to do it all for them in a neat little package.

    Hi there,

    Dedicated IPs aren't really viable in the world of 2023 with IPv4 depletion at an all-time high.

    To solve the reputation problem, we don't send emails from the server IP, we use MailChannels which rotates through thousands of good-reputation addresses for mail egress and manages the reliability automatically.

    If any IP reputation becomes suboptimal, it's removed from the general pool and given a chance to become good again without requiring any intervention.

    Email reputation issues aren't really a problem anymore with this kind of system. :-)

      all you needed to say. I'm not worried what you send through your IP's, it's what dodgy customers might send/host/etc via your pool. Removing an IP out of service doesn't magically remove it from any Blacklist.

        Mailchannels block the dodgy emails outbound to keep the IPs clean, shifts which IPs are used to clean up the reputation of the ones that become neutral to put them in a good state again.
