            • @Jerrysberrys: Mines on "Waiting for approval", my $349 order has been stuck there all arvo. My slightly earlier $479 order is "Preparing order".

              I imagine they will be going through the orders backwards in time, and its probably triggered a full audit of all of these orders today.

              • @stumo: true, have you got access to the calendar bit on you $479 order? mine says select a day but the calendar isnt there

                • @Jerrysberrys: I chose the day during the 479 order process on the website, so its showing that day for delivery on the order with no change option/calendar.
                  The app appeared to have no such option during ordering of the 349 order, and that order is stuck so no date shown on it.

                      E and I now see its asking me to pick a date in the calendar you were talking about earlier, but there is no calendar.

                      • @stumo: hmm i dono but i had a quick look through the t's&c's and it says they check the price paid while they are preparing your order. and its the wrong price they decide if you still get the lower price. says something like, if it was obvious the display price was an error we do not have to send your product. but technically the displayed price was right. we just applied multiple coupons. so this is the stage we find out lol. i dont know what i would do in your situation….probably sell 1 if 2 showed up

                        • @Jerrysberrys: The 479 one I chose a delivery date (to metro Melbourne) for Tuesday week. So I guess I have a bit of time to let the dust settle depending on where they are shipped from?

                          • @stumo: i mean in my mind if they havent started cancelling them by tomorrow arvo i think they are going through. i imagine you can cancel up until they are sent out so you should have a bit of time to decide

        • You just screw the hose onto the water and put the outlet hose into your drain. Then plug it in. It's about as complex as attaching two garden hoses. You can do it

    I ordered for $479 as the newsletter code wasn't properly applied during checkout…

    Had no luck with Samsung Online Chat to apply it retrospectively:

    The reason that the $50 voucher code wasnt applied is because you already added a SECRET10 voucher code, as per terms and conditions for the newsletter voucher, it is not eligible in conjunction with other promotions including vouchers

    My order status is currently displaying Awaiting dispatch in blue letters and showing stage "4 Shipped" highlighted in blue.

      Mine still stuck on "Preparing order" in blue and 3. Awaiting dispatch.

      • No, still the "Awaiting dispatch" status on the top + "4 Shipped" in the chart (I assume that's indicating the next step, confusing… ). I don't think the status will change until it leaves the warehouse on the chosen delivery date (for me that's Monday).
        Mine was on 3. Awaiting dispatch for a while, but shortly after/while getting off the chat it changed to "4. Shipped". So, not sure if the person ticked a few boxes to move it to the next stage.

      Not sure if you had chosen 30/10 during the order, but mine also showed 30/10/2023 in the order status page, however I had chosen 23/10/23 in the order process which was also the date stated in the order confirmation email. When chatting to their online support, I was told to ignore the date on the order status page.

      Another indicator might be the JSON response coming from the …au/guest/trackOrderAuthenticate request when loading the order status page which, in my case, contains order.entries[0].deliveryDate: 1698019200000 (Monday, 23 October 2023 00:00:00)

        I ordered through the app and didn't get the option to choose the date. Prior to today it was showing 16/10/2023 which was the day I placed the order

  • I just received a call from Samsung regards my order, they stated that they don't have enough in stock and they are not sure when the new stock will be available.

  • Just got off the phone with Samsung. They offered the combo unit, but I refused as I already have a heat pump dryer.

    • If they cancel your order down the line due to no stock, what will you do?

      • Be really annoyed with Samsung and then just buy something else? We have a F&P that's still running, but close to retirement.

        But I'd caution any Samsung reps reading these comments to proceed with caution. The ACCC doesn't like it when large multinationals begin running a "bait" or "bait & switch" campaign to offload slow moving stock.

    Got the call as well. They only offered the previously mentioned washer/dryer combo which I'm not keen on.

    Politely declined and I'll wait for stock (hopefully they don't cancel).

      im worried they would cancel so im leaning towards accepting the washer dryer combo. 479 for a washer dryer combo is pretty solid vs nothing if they refund. :/ i still do prefer the machine i ordered tho due to the features.

    Got a call from Samsung re no stock and offered me the washer and dryer combo too. Old stock and don't need a dryer as i've already got one.

    Let's hope they get more stock, otherwise i'd be pissed if I get a refund.

      I dont think you can just swap the $479 to $350
      If you cancel the $479 you will get refunded $479
      but the already allocated stock will just back to the 1st on the waiting list
      If you choose the $350 to wait for the stock (instead of the replaced combo machine)
      then you will be queued into the end of waiting list

  • I just got the OOS call + offer to get the washer/dryer combo instead. I said I wasn't interested because I already had a dryer. The operator was kind of confused by that response but instead of canceling she just "left the order in its current status".

    So no idea what's happening next.

  • i have been offered the combo deal aswell, except i bought a few weeks ago (from ozb) the esatto heat pump dryer that works great.. so now whats the likelihood I can sell it second hand lol I haven't accepted as yet, as the dryer part of the combo has a "condenser", and I do prefer heat pump given its more efficient $$ to run.. decisions decisions!!

      I believe in most use cases I will just use the "wash" cycle in the new combo machine, as the wash+dry cycle will take 7 hours according to other reviews on this machine

        • Reviews state it is better to do washing and drying independently on the machine. This will make it faster.

        • this is the common issue in most combo machines
          the dry cycle takes 3-6 hours itself

          Although they use about the same amount of energy as an equivalent condenser dryer to dry, they take about twice as long to do it – three and a half hours on average, but over six hours for one we tested (long enough to line dry your clothes instead). This isn't an issue if you're getting the laundry done while you're at work or overnight, but it could be frustrating if you're in a hurry for clean clothes.

    I accepted the washer/dryer offer on Wednesday, but just received another call today advising that stock of the original washer will arrive in the warehouse around 31/10.

      I ordered for $349 and hadn't got a call until 5 minutes ago. I was not told of any substitute but informed they were expecting stock to arrive 31/10 and if i was happy to wait.

      Did you receive any contact about a delivery date? I got a text I initally assumed was from a scammer about rescheduling my delivery (I wasn't aware it had been scheduled at all). Now booked for delivery next week.

  • Just got a call saying it will arrive in the warehouse on the 31st, they couldn't tell me when it would arrive at my house though. So good news if you're willing to wait a couple of weeks.

      • I received a call asking if I could wait until October 30 for the stock. I replied that I would wait, and then they sent me a 15% off voucher, but I really don't need it.
