Decided it deserves it's own thread, but the excellent 24-105mm F4 is currently on sale at JB HiFi for $1189.15. Sony will price match, and when combined with a 10% off coupon from creating a new account, brings the price down to $1070.23 shipped. THEORETICALLY, you MIGHT get an additional 7% cashback via Cashrewards bringing the price down to $1002.12.

Edit: Well, my cashback tracked. Let's see if it gets honoured!

    Yeah probably. That’s why I specifically said theoretically. I’m almost certain I have seen other users claim their cash back was still approved, so I’ll wait and see. Either way, it’s a killer price with or without.

      "Theoretically", using a discount code void the cash back. I have not seen any user claiming they got cash back approved combined with discount code, you may confuse with price match?

        Yeah the code is too new, I don't think we'll know whether any transactions actually get approved or declined until another month or two?

          @eecan: Correct. The 10% off promo only started 2nd Aug, it takes 3 months for cash back to be approved.

              Think the issue was more with this statement. Don't want anyone to be making transactions assuming that the cashback will get paid out with the welcome code.

                    I didn’t say with 100% certainly. I did say ALMOST certain, because I was just going off memory. Either way, happy to be a guinea pig and report back in 90 days

  Great price. I picked up one of these for $1055 in June this year (15% off Storewide Digidirect deal + Sony Price Match + $100 Cashback offer from Sony). Haven't really seen it discounted much in the past few months.

    That was good time. I bought it during the same period. With Sony price match, I paid $1013 (just checked my receipt), before CR cash back and $100 rebate. So approx $800 out of pocket.

    Pretty easy. You're meant to do it via a form on the product page. But I did that around midday, waited 4 hours and hadn't received anything by mail. So jumped on the chat and it was done in 5 minutes.
