Any reason not to buy this phone (from this seller)?
Been tempted to buy a S3 for a while now, considering my iP4 contract ends in a month or so.

    • There decent. People have there pros and cons; but you should be alright :)

Any reason not to buy this phone (from this seller)?

Read the reviews on the net and you will find plenty of reasons. It seems that most of the time they are ok with cameras, but when it comes to phones, forget it.

If they choose to send you a different, cheaper phone than what you've ordered and paid for (yes, they've done it) they will tell you to return it to them at your own cost to receive a refund. In my case, having been promising a refund for a number of weeks, I had to resort to a paypal claim to eventually get my money back, and even then they lied to paypal about having received it. Fortunately I had proof that they had.

Always be sure if you do deal with them and have to return something that you use shipping with tracking and a signature, and be sure to use paypal

Avoid them at all cost when it comes to phone. I was in a similar situation with geewhiz and yes it is painful to deal with

    Love this phone!!!!!!

Irrelevant personal opinion on ios vs android debate.

  • Do people think the i5 version will be more expensive??

    • Will be quite rare :p

S3 4G LTE will be more expensive street price IMO.

    • +14

Do you work for them or something?

Happen to forget the $80 shipping?

  • Keen for one of these, but really want the LTE version =/

    • Do you really want to use all your data in a day?
Scares me to think how much you can go over with those fast blistering speeds and the shocking bill at end of it. People have to be real careful with their data as my brother got stung with a $4000 bill after youtubing away on 3g.

      • +4

Huh? Having more speed does not mean you will go over quota.
It just means your pages will load faster.

People who have "bill shock" and use their quota are silly and dont know how to control themselves.

Obviously if you youtube on your mobile heaps commonsense dictates that you will chew threw your data. durrrr

      • If it is your brother's first time, contact them. They are likely to waive it. Give them the usual should have warned me, penalty rate, TIO etc.

  • +1

Yeah, it's not difficult to set up warnings on Android devices to prevent overusage.

    Edit; Fail post placement =/

-_- eGlobal is kind of shifty…

Besides, they increased the price by $15, the price for the phone is now $498 + Shipping - $10(CHK10).

For those looking for the LTE, Telstra are already selling it if you have the $$, otherwise I would think it will take at least a few weeks for the market to catch up and start discounting.

    • +1

Yeah, I think I will wait until the prices start going down a bit for those. I think it was $799 from Telstra last time I checked, and I'm not that desperate.

    • +1

$498 for the white but $483 for the blue

      • +2

I know strange, however this is supply and demand in action. I prefer the dark blue anyway.
