    not there yet. certainly not for the helios neo model which is a cut down of the 'standard' helios - it uses the same chassis as the '22 nitro/old helios 300.

    predator helios neo - reused '22 nitro/old helios 300 chassis

  No point to go for this when you can get Legion Pro 5 with near identical specs - and better build & screen - for the same (and less if you count in extended cashback).

  Acer pulled a dirty trick here, only the Helios 16 uses the new chassis this year, the Predator Helios 16 uses the old Nitro/Helios 300 chassis - and on the inside you get varying degrees of cut downs as well - from the screen, to the speakers, to the rgb - just every little thing stacking up.

  How would any consumer know the Neo is actually the bad version? Especially since the 'good' Helios 16 isnt officially being sold down here.

    legion pro 5 has their issues too with trackpad not working out of box for some people and machine heating. but then again i dont think its worth spending so much for rtx4070 as the performance leap isnt that huge from rtx 4060
