      Not great for you

Is anyone a Club Member? What are the super sales? Is it worth spending the $10 to sign up?

eg some tents 50% off. However looking around snowy has the tent in question for a better price.

    • I wouldn't unless you find something you actually want.
Their website has member pricing on items. Some with a discount more than 40%.
You will probably have to have a browse yourself.

      e.g. https://www.paddypallin.com.au/osprey-raptor-10l-backpack-me…

Still really overpriced imo - but maybe not to someone who would appreciate the features.

Note also that PP will price match so don't let the exorbitant prices put you off.

Customer service in the Sydney CBD store is fantastic (as is the MacPac flagship store in Camperdown)

          That's fair enough.
Though, why the need to comment letting us know you are simply not interested?

            @Sleuth: It's a forum. It has comments…..

@pwnd: And cars have door handles, but I don't pull every one I see.

              • -2

@Sleuth: yet you have commented on more than twice as many posts as I have
seems you pull a lot of door handles

It's not really the outdoors bit. It's more the items they sell.
Just have a look at their activity list that they stock items for:
          - Hiking and bushwalking - maybe. I live in QLD and it's too hot for half the year. And even when I do go, I don't need patagonia north face, icebreak etc branded items for a walk
          - Trail Running - no thank you. Not my jam.Basketball, futsal, gardening are how I usually get my cardio.
          - Alpine expiditions - none in QLD. On the rare occasion that we go somewhere cold, I usually buy one warm set of clothes. Last time I went somewhere cold in winter, I think it was 2002.
          - Camping - no thank you. Not my jam.
          - Climbing - I am good, cheers
          - Travel - see alpine expiditions.

That's one hell of a lot of effort to let everyone know that this isn't for you

Also stacks with targeted Amex promo $40 off $300 spend

  • Damn I filled my cart and came back and everything went up.

They so rarely have sales and I missed it…
