Price seem a little on the high side compared to recent HP 6500T deals with built in WiFi 5.

    • +1

slightly newer CPU and windows 11, but yeh

      • At best the 7500T is 10% faster.

No difference in Windows 11 support or cost.

The 7th gen has the 630 iGPU which is sought after for media servers as it can hardware decode HEVC 10bit and do tone mapping.

As media servers are commonly what these older machines are used for, there will always be a price jump between the 6th and 7th gen simply due to the higher demand for 7th gen.

    • Not to mention the Dell equivalent.

      • +1

A bit more expensive, but up to 30% faster and twice the RAM. Depending on the application this might have been a better option for some people.

  • Is the Core i5-7500T on the list of Windows 11 supported CPUs?

  • +3

Doesn't seem like a great deal, when dell 7500t micros have been cheaper recently

  • Lenovo M910q Tiny supports M.2 PCIe SSD.The older model, M700 tiny, supports M.2 SATA SSD only. The rest specs are almost identical.

  • wifi?

I bought the M710q i5-7500T 8GB/256GB W11 Home from a different seller recently which came with wifi but no antenna
It had a funny looking smaller than usual SMA connector
Instead of faffing around I went and bought a MHF4 to RP-SMA Pigtail

Also it came with a Toshiba XG4 Series 256GB TLC PCI Express 3.0 x4 NVMe (SED) M.2 2280 (THNSF5256GPUK) so dont expect the world if the M910q 256gb is the same model
    Did a CrystalDiskMark test tho
    SEQ1M Q8T1 R/1928.58 W/516.40
    SEQ1M Q1T1 R/1023.91 W/742.90
    RND4K Q32T1 R/501.76 W/278.28
    RND4K Q1T1 R/44.33 W/119.82

  • Are these any good, would use it for studies, word etc, browsing

  • I would pay the extra dollarydoos for an 8th generation or newer CPU. The performance jump between the 7th gen and 8th gen was huge.
