  • +2

Seems like there is no stock and fitting time management for each store.
Imagine the store manager's face tomorrow when seeing 200 people booked in for the same one day and maybe for the same set of tyres. LOL.

  • Didn't knew that the first order was successful (website froze)
    Placed second order
Will they refund one of the orders?

    • +4

you can fit two tyres in one wheel - double protection I guess.

    • +1

Yeah, I believe you can cancel the booking and get a refund. But it would be better to do it tomorrow by calling the store so if they are out of stock someone else can get those at half price.

  • +1

Great deal OP+++, Tyres usually cost a fortune for my car ended up getting 2x 315/35/20 and 2x 275/40/20 both Runflat for an amazing price of $1096, almost tempted to get another set, but as they say Tyres have a shelf life.

  • my after-pay is declining. Anyone was successful through Afterpay?

    • Are you using an Amex ?

      • no i am using visa

  • +3

Thanks OP ! Got confirmation email 25 minutes after the payment.

    • thanks for sharing this - I am approaching this timeframe. I didn't get an order number as it timed out when loading confirmation page…but debited. So fingers crossed

      • Should be alright. Sometimes may take bit longer as processing the payment is priority I suppose. We can call the store as well tomorrow to confirm if no email confirmation received.
If everything fails then buy from Jax Tyres there is only $20-30 difference with their Black Friday deal going on as well.

        • I just got the confirmation through! Cheers.

  • Was in queue. Purchase confirmed and received confirmation email. Paid with Afterpay. So Happy :)

  • +3

I just keep getting “something went wrong” trying to add Pirelli Powergy to my kart.

Can add other tyres no issue.

    • +2

      Getting the same error here

      • +1

Frustrating. Different tyre but no luck.

    • Same as me for a mazda 3. Tried adding the 4wd tyres for my other car and worked no issues but that car doesn't need new tyres! Lol

    • Did you try a different store ?

      • +1

Yep - making zero difference :(

This is the 3rd year I've tried getting tyres from this deal, what a shambles.

        • What's your tyre size. I'm able to add Powergy just now

          • @SuperLate: 205/60R16 are the ones I'm after.

            • @dannyboi: 205/60/R16 as well - 2007 Accord

              • @lppepper: Maybe it's not in stock or something but the system hasn't caught up. :(

              • @lppepper: 225/60/R18 is my issue. Scorpion Verde.

            • @dannyboi: Powergy is OOS it seems (something went wrong message) in that size but was able to add PIRELLI CINTURATO P7 (*) RFT 92W
              205/60R16 92W

              • +1

@SuperLate: I'd go P7 if the option was there, but any store I choose in Melb is only showing Powergy.

                • @lppepper: I have it in my cart right now when I checked it for you. Which suburb are you looking in? CBD ?

                  • +1

                    @SuperLate: Managed to get P7s 205/60/R16!

Went to the product page, chose the size and bam.

                    $477 incl. alignment. Sweet!!

              • +1

@SuperLate: No P7s around Sydney from what I can tell.
Powergy showing as in stock but can't add it at any store.

Leaning towards getting some Yokohamas from Bob Jane for about $500 total, which is still decent.

                • +2

@dannyboi: Yeah Both not available in Sydney. OOS online it seems . Either call them or book in Melb and take a 7Eleven chopper.

                • +2

@dannyboi: Ippepper managed to add through product page.

                  • @SuperLate: Confirmation email came through 10 minutes after ordering FYI

                  • @SuperLate: Great job.
No luck in Sydney, so I think I'll have to give it a pass.

                    • @dannyboi: Product page didn't solve my tyre adding. Time to call it I think.

                      • @funky: Finally able to add to cart and check out. Hopefully resolved for others now too.

                    • @dannyboi: Check Jax Tyres Black Friday deal. Some Powergy are only $20 more there.

  • i have got through Smoothly with 4 of Pirelli Powergy Pay via after pay and all good ….got confirmation email too !!

  • Check your junk mail.

That's were I found the confirmation.

    • Jv, why your important emails are in the junk mailbox ?

      • That is the question…

  • Finally got through, changed browser to firefox

  • Confirmation came through 30+ minutes after order placed.

  • Finally got through and ordered some new wheels. No confirmation email yet

    • +1

I am still seeing something went wrong try again.
Did you keep hitting that button or refresh page

      • Refresh

        • Kept refreshing when I booked. Received the confirmation email just now.

  • Got confirmation and email 30 minutes later.

  • +1

I hope the Powergy are a decant tire. Reviews seem to say the tread does not last very long.

    • I calculated it, tread lasts 30% less than P7 and other brands but Powergy are 25% cheaper ( including fuel consumption) as well. So you pay 5% more for the better performance. Hope my calculations are right haha.

    • yeh bought the powergy too

  • Confirmed! third time buying with this sale, first time online has ever worked flawlessly! If you have dramas just get on the hotline.

  • Awesome deal, thanks!!

  • +1

I don't see anything about $100 off logbook service?

  • Well guess I can confirm at 1am that website is flawless lmao

  • PIRELLI POWERGY 97Y only available for my Focus 😂

Cheap tho $139 a tyre, last time I had barely any options for $600-$650.

It just had a weird profile on it,

  • easy peasy…just booked in & received confirmation less than 10 minutes later
…anyone run a set of pirelli powergy before? …only had these and the cinturato as an option

  • PIRELLI Powergy any good?

    • thats what id like to know too…

      • You’re too late if you’re asking that question now!

        • sub $400 for a set of 4 and theyre in stock….and my car needs tyres. what can i say….i ran with it

    • Very good technical performance but terrible longevity. People taking advantage of this deal will probably end up paying more in the long run.

    • Tyres aren't permanent. You have to keep on changing once they wear out. If you like bargains get one.

  • Put through two orders successfully over an hour and a half ago and still no confirmation emails and nothing in spam/junk. Anyone still not received a confirmation email after submitting an order?

  • just booked, no lag, no crash.
    seamless

I noticed when I picked the store, they didn't give me the pierelli tyres as an option.
I then searched the tyre size and selected it and confirmed the store and that was fine.

the order made a difference for me.
