Time to change over my undies that is filled with holes

    • +17

      I’m going the other way.

With summer almost here, it’s time to change over all my undies for ones with holes.

Not organic cotton ? No deal.

      • I’m so sick of all that lab-grown cotton chaffing my balls…

    • Filled with holes, or areas devoid of fabric?

Anyone want to split an order with me? I'll wear them the first 15 days, then send them to you to wear?

    • +2

kink unlocked. DM sent. Also, you spelt wear sniff wrong.

    • You’d probably be able to turn a profit selling the used pairs on eBay…..

      • Didn't know there was a market for used men's underwear.

        • Just advertise as ‘Travis K.’ Swifties will pay top dollar just on the off-chance you’re him.

        • Just wear the women’s ones…..

      • Depends what they used them for

  • Remember… You buy one pound of underwear and you're on their mailing list forever

    • +6

might play it safe and just order an ounce then

      • ^ This is the comment I was talking to you about on the phone, officer. ^

    • +3

Are they terrible at unsubscribing or am I just missing a joke?

  • +2

I was a "Kmart undies are better than step one" but to be honest the step ones are better quality and last longer.
I don't mind having to replace Kmart ones more frequently but I feel it's actually worth spending the money to get ones that will last longer as I hate going to Kmart with a passion.

    • +4

I have found that the step ones wear a bit thin rather fast and they do not properly support my bits, they cut off a bit too high.

      • +6

        Quit your bragging.

      • +7

        User name checks out

    • Good on you Rain Man for stepping outside your comfort zone.

      • +3

Oops… that was meant to be mildly witty reference to the movie where Rain Man tells his brother that he "buys all his underwear from Kmart."

It wasn't meant to be offensive, sorry if it came out that way @theguyrules.

    • Disagree Kmart bamboo far better. Both cheap as chips drop seller products

      • My kmart ones have worn out significantly quicker. They go rather seethru quickly.
I don't disagree both are cheap products and Step One just marks up higher.

  • Done. Feels weird buying 15 pairs of undies and I certainly don’t look like the model they’re using (!) but I can probably throw out the 15-year-old pairs that I am still rocking like a true OzBargainer.

    • +17

Why do you possess underpants of a 15 year old?

      • Imagine the shock when they really start rocking a pair

  • +2

Hey it's the sleep duck matress guy!

    • And the Kehnards Hire guy lol

  • +5

I bought some during the sale last week. The quality of the pattern designs is not as good as the plain coloured ones.

  • +3

Thanks OP, bought 15 - no joke

  • +3

Switched to Tackle undies. Found them to fit better and better quality.

  • 15 pairs mix and match using the coupon turned out to be $129.80 for me

    • how to mix and match ?

      • I meant can mix between men and women and different pairs, doesn’t have to be same one.

        • +11

Let us know which option feels better on you.

      • go KFC

    • Oh damn, how? I just tried. Are womens cheaper?

      • Perhaps it’s because I mixed with women for my partner too.

  • 15 is just way too many. What do I do with the other 14?

  • +14

they used to be good, the last 2 orders Ive done they really didn't last long. I have pairs from 4 years ago still going strong and pairs from 2 months ago with holes already… so defiantly not as good as they used to be

    • +4

      defiantly not as good

Undies have become defiant. Be careful.

    • +1

Bugger. I hate that. get a good name then go cheap to make more money

      • +1

This is the trajectory of around 90% of companies, it seems.

    • Are they visibly different? Thinking maybe batch issue v quality change.

Mine are all 2-4 years old

    • I think I might have to agree, I also bought a whole bunch nearly 4 years ago after testing out one pair. They were all great quality and they're all in great condition today. But recently I bought another pair with their 50% off purchase and it's pilling after only wearing it twice. It seems to be made of a different material compared to my older pairs. I bit the bullet again this time hoping it's a different batch but time will tell if I made a huge mistake. I hope they're of the old quality but maybe they've switched to cheaper materials now that they've kind of become more popular.

Might be the last time I buy from them.

  • +1

Anyone got experience on how these compare to the Tradie Bamboo undies?

  • I'll go free hanging instead of spending $150

  • Comfortable underwear but absolutely hideous to look at. Decent deal though if you don't care about how you'll look if you pick up.

    • +4

I think if you get that far, I doubt the colour or look of underwear is going to be a deal breaker.

  • I'm mostly a fan of the Uniqlo Trunk style ones..
Any one think these are worth the comparison?

Prob can get the 15x pairs and if one doesn't suit then do the return?

  • How are these like size wise? Medium for 31-34 seems largish

    • I wear 36 and get XL, so I'd say go for a large.

    • If you've used Tradies, I'm an XL in step ones and an L in tradies if that helps. Though I find the band on the stepones still more tight. The material is different so may just be that.

(learnt the hard way, at the time stepone had no decent deals and wanted something cheaper.. Ordered XL in tradies and they were too loose. Exchanged for L minus the pair I used)

      • What size waist are you?

  • My life is now complete. Thanks

  • +1

Thanks OP, 15 pairs ordered. You saved me another 15% with the MP15 code :) I recently got my first pair 50% off in the click frenzy deal and I like them. They're soft and they keep my junk cooler than the Bonds guyfront mid-trunks that are cotton.

    • they keep my junk cooler than the Bonds

Just apply thermal paste for extra cooling.

  • It's coming up as $179 for 15 pairs and the code won't work? Says not available with black friday deal.

  • +1

Too bad I just bought the 11 pairs for $151 in the singles day sale. This works out to be $1 more for 15 pairs.

    • You got the better deal, code doesn't work.

      • Ah it was working earlier.

I just initiated a return of my existing order, with a view to order this. Just came back to this page to find the code has been disabled.

Oh well, easy come easy go.

      • Nah, the 11 pairs were only for the shorter trunks. This deal includes the longer boxers.

  • +3

Sorry, discounts are disabled during Black Friday

Looks like they've disabled the code. Second time I've been burnt by Step One. Back to K-Mart then.

  • I got 10 randoms for $100 in the last click frenzy… all pink and purple.

    • +1

And how did you feel about that?

      • Has grown on me, but did expect a mix

  • Oi ewe! Show us where the wooly wear at

  • Anyone got theirs shipped yet?

    • Nope 🤔

    • Haven't heard anything since I placed the order, no reply to email either. I can't seem to find a phone number.

      • Mine arrived today - the dispatch notification and tracking number arrived after delivery!

        • Same haha

    • Mine arrived today. 7 out of 15 are in different colors than ordered.

Everyone else received their order alright?

      • Still waiting on mine
The site said they shipped in late November

        2nd December
Aust post says they got the tracking number assigned

        12th December
        Auspost received the actual package

        18th-20th
        Due delivery

      • Mine arrived last week. Almost all wrong size (XL when ordered mediums and large) and all the colours are pretty wrong
        We'll see what they say!
