    • I'm confused, how so? One is sold by Amazon one is sold by Sony?

      • +6

Order PS Gift Card from this deal. Get Promo Amazon Credit.
Use PS Gift Card to load your PS account with credit.
Pay for PS Plus using PS account credit at a 30% discount.

        • cant renew current Essential plan ay?

          • @plal: You can I'm pretty sure. Somebody added a recent comment on that PS+ post

        • Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm … ok ok - yep gotcha, good idea.

        • I can confirm this method works. Thanks @yoogz.

Unfortunately, the 30% off on psn only applies for 1 year

  • +3

    Is there a limit?

    • +7

      Play Has No Limits!

  • +2

The $100 Xbox card has $10 promo credit too

    • the norm used to be 10% discount on xbox/ms giftcards
currently shopback is 8% and cash rewards 5%
might be better for those who don't want to mess with promo credit which isn't as flexible as paying with giftcard

  • how to use this gc to buy another Essential plan?

  • does this work like Xbox where your can purchase hardware from the PS store?

    • Perhaps not, as I don't see any hardware in the PS store. The hardware belongs to the SONY store.

    • No, software only.

  • I take it you can’t use the Amazon credits to purchase more PS gift cards?

    • Not anymore apparently…

  • +4

If I buy 2x $30 is that $10 in Amazon credit? Read the terms but from what I saw it didn't specify multiple purchases.

  • does credit have expiry?

    • 31st Jan 2024 according to the terms & conditions

    • The GC credit itself doesn't expire. In terms "This code does not expire."

  • I got the GC but not the credits yet.

    • Thx mate

    • this is very helpful. thanks mate

    • Thanks mate, was getting worried still hasn't arrived after half a day now. Will wait till tomorrow and see.

    • Thanks I’m waiting too

  • Damn, just renewed my ps plus for a year yesterday. Knew I should’ve waited a week in case something else came up.

Doubtful considering it’s Sony but does anyone know if you can apply for a refund a day after? (Claim it was a mistake etc?)

It has been over 30 minutes and no email from Amazon

Is anyone having an issue checking out? I am getting this error:

You cannot purchase this product as this region is currently not supported. Any bundle discounts associated with this product will not be applied in this purchase.

    • Ok not just me.

      • +1

Amazon support said try again in 24 hours. Pretty useless.

        • This black Friday is destroying me - lots of deals this year, I recall last year sucked.

    • +4

I had the same thing, I think it's because my amazon account used to be US one. Anyway I tried this https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/help/customer/display.html?node… but still waiting.

      • This is very interesting, I've updated it.

I hope this doesn't stop me buying US stuff, have a US address, comes in handy sometimes.

(I changed mine too, CTRL-F5 - still no dice)

      • Works for me now

      • You are a lifesaver, Amazon helpdesk were useless, but you fixed it….

  • "There was a problem with some of the items in your order (see below for more information):
$135 PlayStation Store Gift Card (Australian Account only) [Digital Code]"

"You cannot purchase this product as this region is currently not supported. Any bundle discounts associated with this product will not be applied in this purchase."

I'll admit, I made my Amazon account before Amazon Aus ever existed but they DO seem to be the same single account across regions and it's never given me a problem (unlike my USA based Sony account - yes, I know I have different regions for those)

    Anyone else seeing it?

    • Yes having the same issue?

    • I had this problem and the issue is your residential address is listed as a US/overseas address.

Go to your addresses and either delete your US/overseas or change your residential address to your Australian one as this is what they use for digital purchases.

If you try to delete the address it will ask you to choose a new registered address.

My Amex flagged it as fraudulent and canceled the order. As a result Amazon thought it was someone trying to hack my account and have reset everything and locked me out of my account as well lol

    • +2

Could this 'Amazon Media AU' seller is not legit?

      • you could be onto something

      • I'm wondering this.

      • I managed to add the credit to my PS account using the code. I think they are legit.

    • Same here!

  • I got called up by Amazon after i ordered 8 x $30 cards - went through after i chatted and confirmed with them.

    • So multiple purchase works?

      • Yep, just did 4 orders of 2x $30 cards

        • Any reason you buying by $30s and not a higher denominator?

          • @cmdbash: Gifts for people?

          • +2

@cmdbash: 3x $30 gift cards gives the same credit as 1x $100 gift card for $10 less. Seems to be the best return.

    • +1

Did you receive the $5 credit for each one for a total of $40 credit?

  • Has anyone confirmed legit?

    • yeah just added them to my wallet on PS store

      • Where do you find them on the Amazon site? I've done this long long ago but I'll be damned if I can find the code this time.

  • Thanks, bought a $135 and a $50. Worked perfectly renewing my psplus deluxe and left the remaining $ in my wallet.

  • Does it work on the turkey store?

    • No, au only

  • +1

Unless I have it wrong, if buying the $100 denomination, I guess you can decide whether you want $15 Amazon credit using this deal, or just $15 off the purchase price using the Coles TCN Gift Cards on Wednesday from this deal, where you can buy the TCN Teen card at 15% off the $100 denomination, change it for a PlayStation Card and redeem…

  • Any idea if jbhifi or the like will discount their PSN cards

  • +4

Is it just me or is it more worth to buy the 30 dollars one as it has the highest return

  • You cannot purchase this product as this region is currently not supported. Any bundle discounts associated with this product will not be applied in this purchase. In australia , on australian website but cannot purchase?

  • To fix the problem with not being able to purchase due to region:

Go to your addresses and either delete your US/overseas or change your registered residential address to your Australian one as this is what they use for digital purchases. If you try to delete your overseas address Amazon will make you choose a new registered address. Make sure its an Australian one.

  • anyone got their amazon credit applied yet?

    • Not yet, bought yesterday. Why so slow it should be instantaneous…

    • I received the credit via email; it was not directly applied to the Amazon Wallet. The discount will be shown after purchasing any items sold by Amazon AU or Amazon Media AU.

      • Have you tried checking out and see if you can use the credit to buy more PS gifts cards if it says Amazon Media AU

        • +5

          You can:

          Order Summary
          Items: $100.00
          Delivery: $0.00
          Total: $100.00
          Promotion(s) Applied: -$15.00
          Order Total: $85.00

  • Ok I've successfully redeemed my $270 so that's a start. No Amazon credit, yet.

  • I got my Amazon credit today.

  • So you can do multiple purchases and get credits for all?

  • I purchased a 2nd $30 voucher just after midnight yesterday, I haven't received any email or credit in my Amazon account.
Is it only 1 credit per denomination? I couldn't find anything about multi-buys in their t&c.

    • I purchased one a couple of hours ago and I have nothing either. Not even the usual order confirmation email from Amazon.

  • +3

Update: the Amazon credits don’t stack, I purchased $210 total in $30 denominations and should have $35 Amazon credit but it only applies $5 credit for each subsequent purchases

To maximise this I suggest you purchase $30 cards at a time and use the $5 credit on the next $30 card. Sneaky Amazon, as there’s no mention of this in the terms and conditions

    • Yeah, I purchased $215 and only got $15.
I will chase them on this.

      • +3

So each promotional credit can only be use by itself per eligible purchase. I bought like 7 x $30 vouchers and each $5 credit has to be used on individual purchases. So after you use the $15 credit the next eligible purchase will show your next promotional credit available. It's pretty shit that they don't stack.

        • +1

          Ahhh thanks, good to know.

  • +1

I bought $135 but I was never provided the digital code to claim. I've checked my order page and can't find the code anywhere

  • Awww man I paid $135 for the digital code but it was never sent to me. Spent the last hour speaking to 4 Amazon rep and they all couldn't help :( They keep passing me on to the next person?

How did you guys receive the digital code? It's not in my inbox or on the order page. So frustrating.

    • My gift card voucher code was sent via email with the subject "Your Amazon.com.au order of "$100 PlayStation Store Gift…""

      • Got it this morning. There was a delay in sending it out.

  • Is there a cap on how much credit you can have on your PS account?

    • 600

  • Bought 3 days ago, immediate email saying credit to be applied to account. Have not received any credit or further email.

  • didn't get bonus credit on my 2nd purchase of the $30 GC.
Though, I did use the credit from my 1st purchase to buy the 2nd one.
