Am currently taking advantage of a 50% off for three months promo, and received this Black Friday promo into my inbox today. There is a promo code in the URL but the T&Cs (see below) say you must click through from the email so YMMV.

    All the people who signed up 12-13 months ago on$45 plans have cancelled in the last 2 weeks and dropped off their current user list… Midi likely Paramount realised this and needed to entice the users back.

    Ah, I wondered what was going on.
    I used that promo last year for the half price and my subscription auto renewed a couple of days ago and the 50% off was applied automatically. Was very pleased, but had to look up why.

    I just cancelled my annual plan last week. Does that mean that I can't use this? When I go to sign up, there is no promo code area.. is it because I'm supposed to "upgrade" to this? Well… I also used the app… I guess I'll try things out or talk to them…

      I was in the same situation. Worked for me by:
      - opening link above via Incognito (so it didnt open the App)
      - Click all the way through to the payment screen (you select the Monthly vs Annual on the 2nd page)
      - At the bottom of the payment page I entered the above Promo Code

      This worked - signed up for a year for $45! Perfect timing 4 days after my last membership expired.

      Also a bonus tip:
      You can cancel your subscription immediately and keep access for the next 12 months. Avoids having to remember to do it in 11.5 months time.

    Yeah, I had emails switched off and turning it on isn't going to send this week's old emails is it? The URL takes me nowhere. I'd like to do this as P+ is where I watch A-League. I wonder how I can get it (currently month-to-month).

    If I go to "Change to annual plan" there's nowhere to put in a code and it says it'll be $89.95 and "Buy now." I don't want to do that as it's charged immediately.

      Before you agree and subscribe, on the right side of the screen, underneath the total, there is an option to select "Have a promotional code?".

    I made sure to cancel my annual subscription before the renewal a couple of days ago and now I can't apply the code for Standard - Annual, but it works for Premium - Annual.

    I think I will wait another three or four days and see if there is a workaround or some other offer pops up.

      How did you get it to work going from annual to annual?
      I reactivated, went in to change plan, and it would only let me select changing to premium annual, but no option for a promo code, just says ill be billed straight away.

    My last deal expires midnight on 27th, had already cancelled. Didn't get an email, so tried applying code but "This promotional code is not valid." Renewing comes up as full rate, but thankfully was able to immediately cancel again. Only watch the A-League on it, TBH, so… shame.

    ok after trying all that P+ help said to do plus sending a screen shot of my options (no annual plans showing) I tried various browsers. Firefox Chrome Edge and voila it worked in Opera with the promo code. Went the premium plan for $62.49 (only $17.50 the difference to standard)

    Paramount Plus at 50% off I think is really good value if your into cop shows like NCIS, CSI, FBI, Dexter also reality shows like Jersey Shore and a bunch of other degenerate crap lol. Also they've had some good movies and shows added recently like Tulsa King and the latest Scream movie and a bunch of other stuff

    Thanks, worked for me after some mucking around. This is what worked for me:

    I had an existing monthly subscription with the 50% off for 3 months deal.
    If it matters, I was on Chrome on a Mac.

    • Open the link in the OP in Incognito Mode and was taken to the P+ log in screen (this was important as opening the link directly in normal mode would just take me to the P+ home page).

    • Logged in and was asked to select a plan (standard or premium). I'm already on standard and want to stick with that so I just clicked on "update billing cycle" in the Standard box.

    • I was then taken to the billing cycle page. Monthly was already selected as that's my currently plan. The Annual box had a little green 50% off banner on it (the price still said $89.99). I selected Annual and clicked Buy Now (or whatever the button said) and was charged $40.15 (pro-rata the existing payment for my monthly plan) and now have P+ annual for another year.

      Perfect! This worked for me even thought I hadn't received the promtional email. Was on monthly billing at 50% off. Gotta be bold on that last step and confirm you want it even thought it's stating full price (except for the little green 50% banner). Email confirmation and credit card all billed at 50% off.

      Hmm not happening for me. If click through the OP link(with incognito chrome) with the embedded promo code it comes up with a login screen the same as yours, but then when I login it just goes to my account without asking me to select a plan

      I’m getting a SWITCH TO ANNUAL button.

      When I select this I get a choice of BUY NOW or CANCEL.

      If clicking BUY NOW does this make an immediate payment (my CC is recorded) or is there a second screen to accept payment and enter the discount code?

        For me, the box that had the Switch to Annual button in it, also had a green banner on top that said 50% Off.

        Clicking Buy Now processed the payment immediately. There was no screen to enter a discount code.

    I was messing around with promo codes as nov2023upg wasn't working. The code nov2023 wouldn't produce an error message but also didn't do anything. Tried dec2023 and I was successfully able to sign up with 50% off.

    I don't have an account and created a new account using dec2023, and did the year subscription.
    You put in the discount code at the point of purchase. It'll be located on the top right side of the screen when you put in your CC details.

    Anyone else getting the error:
    "The transaction was declined. Please use a different card or contact your bank."

    So far I've tried 2 different cards from 2 different banks. The transaction shows up as pending on the statement but the Paramount website fails to proceed (nor do I get any confirmation emails so I'm going to assume its failed)..

    I'm already on the Standard plan until June 2024 (for half price), and want to upgrade to premium (but for half price offer of course!). When I tried to do it, it says something like "if you're already on a promo this may or may not apply to your new plan, and if you're already on a plan it will pro rata to the new plan", and shows premium as $124.99.
    Any ideas? No way do I want to convert my current good deal to a pro rata premium plan at full price for half the time!

    I signed up for a new account (never had one before) on my phone but it doesn't present a field for discount code.

    I then jumped on my Mac and clicked through the link above in incognito and private from Chrome and Safari and codes 'dec2023' and 'dec2023upg' do not apply.

    Any assistance from OzB folk?

    Do I roll the dice and sign up and seek a 50% refund through support?
