You can't get the annual plan through Amazon Prime Video.
All you can get is Paramount on Prime Video for $9.99 a month, Right now they're offering $5 a month for 3 months. If you akready have Paramount through Prime, simply go to cancel it and you'll get the offer.Apparently you can watch Prime through the Paramount App though once you purchase directly through paramount, though Im struggling to find the link to do so as it just opens the app and you cant verify your Prime account there.

I signed up to this offer last year and it is about to expire. I only watch it for the Aleagues and it is cheaper to use a VPN and watch it on Youtube. Have not consumed one other piece of content from their catalogue in my time. The platform is still clunky and not user friendly and not worth the money,

I had no luck with stability with the Paramount+ (android) app… Very disappointed with quality and stability. I cancelled the trial twice (a year apart) because the issues remained and hadn't been corrected.
Now subscribed to the (Amazon) Prime Paramount+ channel and performance and stability are excellent. Strangely, some TV Series (NCIS: Sydney) had both the Australian release and the US release running side-by-side, but this appears to have been corrected.
I don't know at this stage whether I would continue past the 3 month trial period I signed up for at the Amazon Prime Black Friday sale.

Do you know if you can watch a game on YT that has just finished? Ie watch from the start?
The other day, the Adelaide United game had just finished (and they had presumably wrapped up the after-game analysis) but I was unable to watch it on "replay". It only became available to watch many hours later.
@Qbagger: I had that experience the other day with P+, but found out you can select the live stream (i.e. post-game) and move the cursor back through the entire stream in a second or two. Not the best experience, but a way to watch the game in full until it hits “replay” hours later.
@bargainsfortheppl: That sounds like a good workaround but in my instance the live stream disappeared within 15 mins of the broadcast concluding so I couldn't do the rewind trick.

Also in the A League camp. For convenience more than anything else. I can be at a mate's house and Chromecast it to their telly. VPN makes that harder.

I have Netflix because I share a plan with my parents. I have Prime because always had a Prime subscription because I buy a shitload off Amazon. I recently signed up to Binge which is owned by Foxtel, a bit cheaper at $18 per month for 4K and 2 devices. I found Binge to be quite good. I'm not sure if Paramount+ is worth getting for that once off price on top of these 3 I already have? Anything I want to watch I torrent download anyway e.g. Apple TV shows etc.
Exactly, if it's cheap I'd pay as of ease and quality but I can download anything I want which is free.

That's not how you do it these days.
Prime's worth keeping if you shop on Amazon, but the rest you just sign up for a month or two, watch everything good they have, and cancel.
You get to watch everything, there's no fiddling with torrents or servers, and the whole thing costs less than 4k Netflix alone.
Also sharing accounts works a treat. ie signup, watch everything, give your friends your login, let them watch everything, then cancel.
Amazon Prime is the only account I keep because of the shopping.
By the time you cycle through them all, a month or two each of Netflix, Disney+, Stan, Binge, and Paramount+, it's been 6 months or more and so next turn they've got a bunch of new shows, new seasons, and new movies.
And less time spent "doomscrolling" to decide what to watch (only to run out of time without watching anything), since you're not checking multiple streamers.
If you already torrent downloading then just use stremio and save your money.
Binge after a while you find it's hard to find what to watch. App doesn't remember which episodes you watch last if you switch between devices, cannot remove continued watch and many other annoying issues. the only app that Google TV cannot pull to it's home page and a lot of new movies are the same as Netflix. I signed to Stan and the app is really good and seems to have a lot of great content so far. I like how it's the only app that has fraction of second displaying it's logo.
One good thing on Paramount that is definitely worth watching is The Betoota Advocate Presents Great true Australian stories told with a typical Aussie laid-back tongue-in-cheek style vibe.
I actually watched the Fine Cotton episode on Ch10 one night and it was 10/10. I love Betoota as it is, but they really stepped it up with this show.

I watched one show on Hillsong and found it a bit cringe. I'm no fan of Hillsong, but it came across as a bit of a beat-up with stupid exaggerated animations to creatively add drama that didn't actually happen IRL. Also the Ocker-Aussie-bloke struth, fair dinkum, digger, cobber shtick is just tacky. Throw another shrimp on the barbie!

Why pay? There is a free trial code almost every month. The only reason I can see anyone signing up for a year it's either for the Premium plan or because it's just easier and more convenient instead of doing a new account every month.
But still free it's better.Yeah, someone like my mum won't set it up every month.

Never bothered, myself though, already watched Dexter…I got the bargain where they got the monthly amount confused with the yearly subscription fee. So I got a year for 8.99. Which was about what it’s worth. About to cancel apply tv as they have put their prices up and I don’t watch anything as there is nothing worth watching. Leaving me only Amazon which is worth it due to Amazon free delivery.
