      LATER TODAY

        • +2

Went live at 10 am and managed to snatch one. Thanks OP.

  • Will Apple Store do price match for this ?

    • No

    • +1

Sadly I doubt it AND even if they did, they only do 10%

  • HOLY $H!T 0.0 … and I thought getting them for $319 on release was cheap!

    • -2

      I got a pair $309.93 from OW

      • How

        • -1

          Price match with MyDeal $369

          -5% $350.55 (OW price beat)
          -GST $318.68 (TRS refund)
Flybuys $309.93 (Flybuys 5x points with Onepass =$8.75)

          • @jv: Can Officeworks or JBHiFi do price match for this ?

            • +1

@JaKiChan: No, they won't match ebay coupons or grey imports.

    • you are right, was cheap ON RELEASE

    • So what , you win some and lose a lot more !

  • +1

If you have a 28 Degrees card, buy elsewhere… claim the difference. 1000% easier than scoring this deal.

    • good luck trying to get a refund using an ebay code…

it is not an advertised price…

      • you can do it as long as you managed to get a screenshot of it.

      • Wrong, I claim price protection all the time against eBay store pricing with coupons using 28 Degrees. Will be doing for this too. Had previously done so to pay $303.20 after a previous deal, so this will be another 40 bucks back :)

        • 28 degrees price protection is something we have to activate?

          • +1

@charliechao: If you don't have it you'll never get it, it's a grandfathered product to existing customers.

            • +1

@saitaris: I have 28 degrees for years. But never use it. I believe that’s something you have to activate and remain? There is no product protection production information in the t&c webpage.

              • +1

@charliechao: If you have the shopper protection insurance activated then you may have price protection coverage. If you don't, you can't add it now.

        • Can't you only price protect once per item with 28 Degrees?

          • @Velocita: Nah you can claim unlimited instances of price protection for one item, but it's capped to a certain amount of money total — supposedly $1000 per item, and a $20,000 cap for the lifetime of the card.
            https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/552030

I've successfully claimed 3 times on one item already within the one year, so I have no doubt you can go further if you want to.

  • aest or aedt?

    • Aww c’mon… why you leave us out, ‘or awst’?

  • +1

How reliable is this ? Doesn’t look like there is any warranty from Apple

    • +2

Probably awful. I’ve been fighting Allphones for months over a pair I got in an eBay sale that eventually broke down in just under 2 years. Apple says no go because the date of purchase in their system is actually a few months before the DOP from Allphones.

      • Lucky you , wasn't a bargain after all . Don't worry , your in good company here ….

    • If you have Applecare on your phone/device, I think these are covered?

      • no

  • how did you find out about this?

    • Look at their user name

  • -1

    When is LATER? How later?

    • +1

usual ebay deal 10 am AEDT

  • :) good deal :D

  • any ebay plus deals

  • do you know any other deals for tomorrow?

  • That’s an awesome deal!

  • Is this a grey import ?

    • They are part of the Mobileciti group, they only sell genuine Australian stock

      • Thanks. What’s the others going on about in the above comments

        • Good question !

  • +1

Can anyone confirm by purchasing with Techcity and if something goes wrong, Apple won't provide any service?

    • If it’s genuine Australian stock Apple should provide service for at least the 1 year warranty period. I bought from macapp ebay store before and it shows it’s under warranty when you check it. But to claim statutory warranty after one year then you may need to go to the seller.

      • -1

How was your experience with them? Any issue where you had to walk into an Apple store?

        • I have no issues so didn’t have the need to use warranty service.

  • what will be the code to apply?

  • Hi guys im new here, i have already signed up an ebay plus account just wondering, how do we get the discount code?

    • I think the my will release it closer to 10am

  • -1

Can this stack with shopback / westpac bonus?

    • Most likely not as you will probably need to use a coupon code to get the price and the code will probably be excluded from ShopBack.

      • Thanks

  • From someone who avoided all Apple headphones since the original earphones back in the day - thinking they're just fashionable junk - I can't recommend these enough, especially if you've got multiple Apple devices. The multi-connect/seamless switching is so handy, the noise cancelling is fantastic and, yes they sound good too I think. Worth every penny.

    • -2

until the battery dies on one of the air pods and no longer will hold a charge..

      • Yes as with every piece of portable technology, what's your point?

  • Has anyone bought Apple products from techciti before and can vouch for its authenticity? A bit worried as fakes are hard to spot

  • n00b question: What will happen at 10?
    - Will the code be updated on this post
    - Will the code be added to the "original coupon deal"

Can you preload your cart with the airpods and then apply the code after it's released?
    tia

  • Worth upgrading if you already got the Gen2s with Lightning?
