    Apparently not dishwasher safe.

Going for around $100 elsewhere atm.

Googling gives lots of variations of Stanley Rogers products from different websites all with specials. Can get like 8 x 7 piece, 6 x 5 piece, 8 x 5 piece etc variatons.

"Apparently not dishwasher safe." Why did you say that? Where did you find "not dishwasher safe"?

      • Was reading reviews on the other websites of the same "Amsterdam" line.

    • Never heard of cutlery that's not dishwasher safe. What can be unsafe about it?

      • -1

You'll get waterspots putting these in.

I mean, if you like tasting patina, why not.. 😅

        • If it's stainless steel, that's not plausible

@mrau: I don't have the Amsterdam, I have the Soho set from Stanley Rogers, which would have to be made from the same 18/10 steel, and it's flawless after years of use and daily dishwasher cleaning with a bunch of different dishwasher powders/balls/tablets and sheets (actually having breakfast using them now).

I don't know what the bad reviewers are talking about, sounds very clearly like PEBCAK to me.

            • @dtpearson: That makes sense, thanks 👍

            • -1

@dtpearson: How hard is it to put a spoon in a dishwasher..?

You don't even have the same range but are commenting on others who experience things with their set..? 😅

Are you shilling for fun or?

  • When they don’t openly advertise as 18/10 stainless steel, then they are crap imo

This is the only link I can find they mention 18/0 ..

It is 18/0, it's on their website

    • I am eating breakfast using Stanley Rogers (Soho) spoons and they are clearly stamped 18/10. Stanley Rogers is a premium Australian brand, 18/10 is a given, just because the latest Mercedes Benz don't prominently advertise that their cars are fuel injected does not mean that they lack fuel injection.

      • +1

could be because the last car they advertised was electric :P

  • if i remember correctly, when i posted this there were 19 sets.

    now 6 remaining

wonder if amazon stops the deal and raises price like my other 2 posts

    • $349 on manufacturer web store

      • It's one of those brands that inflates all their RRPs, but always has the products on sale somewhere at 70-80% off to make people think they are getting a bargain.

        • They might be good products (I don't know), but this stuff really puts me off buying a set, even at this price
Also, given how consistent the price is on camel for months, and that it's from the Stanley Rogers store, this doesn't sound very legal

  • Next best deal in this sale?
dont even know how many utensils I need

  • i just cancelled my bolero set to buy something else. only 1 available $77.35

    • someone got it . bye bye

  • Noah is gone. Only manchester 50pc rivet handle knife remains
