    Which one do you have? Have tried a garment steamer before and it just didn't seem to remove the wrinkles like you get from the iron.

      you could bring it with you when you travel, though most hotels are going to have an ironing board as well. I do find irons are still superior when it comes to a crisp iron, but this negates chance for damage and requires less space in a house to do.

      If you still want to bring with you for travel just empty the water tank before you pop it in your suitcase; i didn't have issues when i brought mine for a wedding last year. (note i was using a sunbeam steamer but should be the same).
