    i thought WH

  • Great price! I lost 2 pair of these! Currently on Airpods.

Nothing about these justifies a $100 tag

    • I dunno about that, they're only a couple of generations old and were Sony's flagship earbuds, with ANC, touch controls, great battery life.

I have a pair of these and recently moved to the XM4s as I got a good deal on a pair. The XM3s are still great, but they are much bulkier, as is the case (which is comically large).

These are seconds. That means they're broken/faulty items that have been fixed, but I wouldn't trust the quality of something else not to go wrong in an already faulty earbud.

It's still over $100, and there's been deals for brand new stock at not much more and Bing Lee itself selling new stock for $133 last year.

        • +1

$133 still over 33% more than this deal. Seconds not such a big deal for a $100 item. I'll spend more on a dine-in dinner with a friend.

@xyron: I'm honestly trying to work out what you're saying here because it sounds like $100 isn't a lot of money but $30 is?

            • +2

@pennypincher98: $30 is a big increase in price when talking about a $100 item, which refutes your assertion that the deals you linked were comparable to the OP's deal.

equally, $100 is not a huge amount of money in the scheme of life. so worth spending if you are in the market for a pair of TWS ANC earbuds that are a step above the typical anker/sol republic fare.

Not that hard to get your head around, is it?

              • +1

@xyron: If I had the choice of spending an extra $30 for new, I would. However, I decided to buy these anyway as I have faith that Sony has done an honest job in fixing them.
I would be keen to know how Sony would be to deal with if problems arise

@PR0r: 30 day return policy like most big brand sellers on eBay, just return them if you don't like them.

                  • @xyron: I've looked into this and there's good news:

Returns accepted through 10 Jan 2024.

                    One-year warranty included.

@xyron: Lmao wow shitty day at work? Why so salty..

step above the typical anker/sol republic fare.

You mean $25 earbuds? yeah I'd hope so. They're over 4 times as much lol.

$100 is not a huge amount of money in the scheme of life

                But $130 is?

        • Personal call I guess. I'd probably consider the additional $33 for brand spanking tbh.

Having said that though, bought these refurb'd from Sony in June. Using them hard every day since. Dropped, rained on etc. No problems thus far. Sony refurb is not close to what you get with Apple refurbs (for comparison), but the buds themselves appeared new. Would buy again. My cheaper Anker/Soundpeats/Whatever buds are fine, but not as good as these.

Imo better fit and sound and can be had for $50

      • I leave these at work (xm3s) - connection always drops out riding, calls are terrible. Sony ain't Sony anymore regarding quality imo

  • PSA although these are xm3 it is worth noting that xm4 have battery problems like rapid drainage and explosions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u525qqRHonM
