Allpowers R600 Beige 600W 299Wh Portable Power Station $199 Delivered @ Henison-Au eBay

900

Allpowers R600 Beige portable power station. This is the v2 of the R600 which reviews well. eBay may only show 5 available but they keep topping up that number. Comes with 30 day free returns and 5 year warranty.

Edit: This seems to be restocking every hour or so with 5 more units. Was at about 13 units sold when I listed on here, now over 100 units sold. Keep refreshing to try to find stock.

EDIT Nevermind found it. 'pure sine wave'

I own this. Thought I got a bargain from AliExpress at $217 during black friday. Fan is noisy. And app doesn't seem to have the ability to update the firmware. But seems like solid device for the money.

    • Did you get your order from Black Friday already from AliExpress/China, so quick ???

      • +1

Aliexpress has 3-4 day delivery now days

    • +1

…but but but the ad says "ultra quiet cooling fan"

  • +1

    in stock, just placed order

  • +1

Especially designed "to charge kettle and juice" 😲

    • +1

120w kettle, would take about an hour.

      • +4

make spark with power pack and build fire

  • Solid price for the capacity, just got one.

  • still have stocks just bought one 30 secs ago.

  • +1

I keep refreshing but no luck - though sold count keeps going up.

    • And has shown sold out - 25 units total sold for ~ last 30 mins now so looks like thats all they had.

  • +1

Watt hours are pretty low right? Or am I mistaken. What sort of use would people mostly get out of this?

    • +3

Charge devices, power some low wattage LEDs etc - when the power goes out due to storms etc.

      • Yeah okay makes sense! Thank you.

This sort of thing wouldn't run a projector+Xbox for very long, right? An hour or so?

        • +1

Xbox One X is about 150-180W , projector can be 100W+?
Wont get long at all, expect 30-45 min at best.

        • +5

Why would you bring an xbox and a projector for camping? Doesnt seem like a popular camping activity. Maybe just bring a switch if you have to play some games while camping.

          • +1

@truetypezk: I travel a lot. Not just camping.

I like games that aren't on switch too.

            • +2

@snoopydoop: You don't really need a mobile power station if you just travel a lot, most places that have a screen or at least a white wall will come with a power point too I reckon.

              • @truetypezk: Guess what, a lot of places I travel to don't have a white wall and a power point.

Hence my need for a power station.

                • +5

@snoopydoop: What kind of travelling are you doing where you don't have power, but want to lug around a projector, screen, Xbox and portable power??

                  • +2

@D3m3ntia: Work in events and rural accom doesn't always have power. Space is no issue.

                    • @snoopydoop: Well, bringing a projector and a screen and an xbox just to play some games is definitely next level dedication to gaming! I would rather just bring a reasonably sized monitor (or even one of those smaller portable monitors) with the xbox instead of a projector setup.

        • Just buy a BYD and use V2L

  • +12

"MRS BENAUD: The cream, the bone, the white, the off-white, the ivory or the beige?"

  • I only see 1x DC output (cigarette lighter) where are the other 2?

    "ALLPOWERS R600 portable power station features 2* pure sine wave AC outputs (240V 600W, Peak 1200W), 2* 100W USB-C & 2* 18W USB-A fast charging outputs, 2* DC outputs (12V/10A), 1* car cigarette lighter (12V/10A) and 1* 15W wireless charger. "

looks like they effed up the description. the other black R600 has the 2x DC outputs but this one doesn't.

    • In the v2 (and beige) they removed those 2 plus. I suspect it may have been to put in a better fan? I know the v2 is meant to be a lot quieter than the base version. I can't comment for certain as I only ordered mine yesterday.

  • Is there a reason the power sockets are upside down versus usual?

    • +3

China uses the same socket layout as Aus/Nz etc but theirs is 180* around the other way.

      • +4

        Down under

  • +1

    What's the usage scenario? UPS?

With 299Wh it's not going to do much on a camping trip, would not even power a freezer through the night.

    • +4

I use a similar capacity LiFePO4 power station for powering my astrophotography rig.

It can power the equatorial mount, mini PC, cooled camera, guide camera, autofocuser and filter wheel all night. I usually have 60-70% capacity left in the morning when I pack it all up.

I also use my older, smaller-capacity power station I when I'm on camping/photography trips for charging laptops, cameras and phones, running LED lighting and powering my star tracker for wide-field Milky Way shots.

      • Just saw this message after I ordered the station lol, was my intended use so good to see it'll have plenty of juice!

        • I just checked the specs and mine is actually around 500Wh. However, it's more than two years old, has seen heavy use, and still usually finishes the night on close to 70% (typically running the whole rig from polar alignment at sunset to the time it parks at 3AM). This is running a Quieter2Q PC, an EQ6-R, an ASI2600MM, EAF, CFW, guide cam, and with the whole thing loaded up with a 10kg OTA.

So, even with the lower capacity on this one, I'd be surprised if you didn't finish the night with close to half the capacity remaining.

          • @axyh: Thanks that’s awesome. I’m currently running a super modest rig of Star Adventurer GTI with ASIAIR Plus and DSLR setup with 120MM Mini guidescope but am looking to get an AM3 some time next year so by the looks of things this’ll be plenty.

Thanks OP - also grabbed 40W solar mat https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/294639687968

    • Just bought the The 140W equivalent from these guys. Arrived last week - looks pretty solid, but haven't had a chance to properly test yet. (My larger portable power station arrives next week)

      • Which portable power station did you order?

        • +2

Vtoman 1500X. Got it for $650 during the black Friday sales. Needed the extra juice to run a microwave.

    • Hi how are you connecting this solar mat to the R600?

  • Woah, kept refreshing an managed to get one :)

      • +2

I just kept refreshing until I saw it back in stock. Probably easier on a desktop computer.

  • +6

Managed to get one a few mins ago for 189 with some coupon I had. Gotta be quick

  • Ah missed it faffing around with gift card codes

    • +2

You should still have it in your cart even if out of stock, so you are one step closer to getting it when it restocks likely in an hour. All you'll need to do is refresh your cart until it becomes in stock.

      • +1

Yep got another alarm for the next restock

  • +1

    Back in stock again.

Reported as back in stock before, so couldnt report again, it seems

    🤔

  • What's the usual usage for this?

  • I hope energy storage gets so compact one day we get to power a house from a box

    • +2

Yeah, then buy a couple, take them to work, charge them, bring them back home and power home.

  • -4

Looks like the most useless device, ever? Crazy.

  • +4

It is useful for camping or when your electrical company decided to do some maintenance in your area. Managed to get one. Thanks ops and cute as duck for figuring out the pattern.

  • +1

    5 available again

And sold out. Check again 11:20-22pm

  • +3

    Got one lol

  • Lucky you, I tried to pay with afterpay which takes a few extra seconds and missed out.

  • +1

    Thanks OP. Got one

  • +2

Trying really hard not to buy this as I already have a UPS at home and don't go camping lol

  • +2

Got one. Thought I’d missed it as had to do the “are you human” check!

    Cheers OP.

  • Go go go, 5 more now

    • Not from what I saw. Kept refreshing from 10.21pm onwards every few seconds after having one in cart,

and no go for me anyway…..Hope other people had better luck.

      • +2

It got replenished with another 5 at 10:20 PM but were gone by 10:21 PM.

        • +1

Oh well,……was too late then, again…..

          • +1

@ozhunter68: Oops, I meant 11:20 PM and 11:21 PM respectively.

            • +1

@stebie: Made complete sense to me as in Qld now anyway ( no daylight savings haha ).

          • +1

@ozhunter68: I feel your pain. I already use a Cygnett Explorer 200watt, I use it daily to save on my electricity bill and its not enough I would have loved this product but was to busy today and didnt check the website until its all sold out :(

            • @churkinese: Maybe try in twenty minutes if they restock before bedtime. I'm having a late night because of this haha

  • +1

    ……..and all gone again…..

    • +3

They have kept drip feeding 5 hourly all night. 2 available as I type since 5 were made available about 12 mins ago, taking longer to sell out as OzBargainers sleep.

      • +1

        Ouch, thanx, though AUD, cheers

  • +3

Finally was able to get one late last night's. Anyone notice in eBay listing photo shows 5 years warranty, but under specs they say only 2 years?

  • And gone

  • +1

If the listing has stock, they even have an extra 10% for 2+

  • Managed to nab one - let's see how much of use I get out of this

  • +8

I suspect they have more of these than we think.
The drip-feed style creates urgency and creates sales that probably wouldn't have happened otherwise, because people don't want to 'miss out'

  • Available again, 4 left

    • +1

Looks like they are now manually adjusting the quantities every few minutes, rather than getting the bot to adjust it hourly.

    • Grabbed one, thanks. Didn't check stock numbers (now I can't?), was rushing to add new card and ignore Honey popping up I didn't see to apply MYPLUS $5 off :( #coffee required.
Any idea how long these will hold a charge for? Site says doesn't recommend leaving on charge - as an emergency backup, any info on discharge rate?

  • +1

For that price, can't complain. Got one.

  • its back in stock

  • It is back in stock, got one now, 3 available at this moment.

  • Got one. No idea why I need it.

    • So you can play with it and return it if it is terrible.

      • +1

Right - because its eBay plus
