  • sistema containers are often half-priced

    • +2

These ones will actually be sealed properly

      • But bloody expensive.

        • <$4 a container isn't too bad for something with a lifetime warranty. I bought something similar from CoTD and the hinges broke off, so this is reasonably tempting.

        • My container hinge came broken but Lock & Lock sent me a new replacement no questions asked. I have to syd they have excellent customer service.

      • the sistema ones are ok. they've got a seal and clips

        • The sistema clip retainers aren't very good and often break. The lock&lock system seems like it will last longer.

    • Sistema containers are rubbish. they leak and stain and they get water under the rubber seal.

  • Hi guys,

If you have any questions about the product I own a few pieces (The lunch box sets and some random samples) and am a pretty big fan of the product. It doesn't stay looking pretty forever but the seals/locks haven't skipped a beat.

UPDATE: Looks like our image storage system (Windows Azure) is down! Awesome! I've uploaded an image here of the product just in case you want it or something http://i.imgur.com/bQeGH.jpg

I used two lock lock container as lunch box, so basically 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year, microwave heat, and dishwasher every month, still going good after two years.
BTW I bought mine in china, about 2/5 of the price here.

      • The price part can largely be blamed on logistics. Delivering big boxes to Australia/around Australia is a killer

  • They're water tight so never leak. It's great to store anything in. I keep my flour and rice in them to keep away weevils. Hate the nasty shock of finding those things when I'm cooking. I use them to store wet things too so I never worry about it oozing out. Lol. All round a bargain.

    • I use it as a dry box to store my camera gear to prevent fungus.
