How it works
Purchase a Qualifying Gift Card^ online at giftcards.woolworths.com.au/offers or through Everyday Gifting in the Everyday Rewards app and receive an additional 5% face value on top of your base purchase amount. The additional 5% face value will be added to your base Qualifying Gift Card^ purchase amount after checkout. Your Qualifying Gift Card(s)^ will be sent to the email address used in the billing details for the eligible order and will be loaded with the base purchase amount plus the additional 5% face value. For the avoidance of doubt and as an example, if you purchase one (1) $200 Qualifying Gift Card^ you will receive a card with a total value of $210, with the $200 being the base purchase amount and the $10 being the additional 5% face value. This offer is only available during the Offer Period or while stocks last. By participating in this offer, you acknowledge and agree that there is a stock limit on the number of Gift Cards that will receive the additional 5% face value.         That's probably your bank. Gift cards are what thieves buy with stolen credit cards. So multiple gift card transactions flags their fraud system.

      I purchased with the NAB promo code, using PayPal, and haven't received the bonus after 30mins. They've usually been instant in the past.

      It's fine as long as it arrives eventually …

    Anyone know if ShopBack Supermarket cards can be used as payment method? Got a couple to use up.

    Edit: Tried and nope - "Your order cannot be processed because of an issue with your payment card." Can't add them to PayPal either.

      It used to work a few months ago but the Woolworths GC portal has changed its MCC to close this loop hole.

        I remember the Special cards working but they closed the loophole shortly after from memory, so didn't think the SB cards would work, but worth a shot.

    If your parents/grand parents are senior, apply to get a senior card and have 5% off all year round. Purchase through Woolworths gift card portal so no fuse and instant.
    I'm in VIC, not sure about others.

      It is available for NSW Seniors Card holders too.

      My understanding is that the other Seniors Card programs around Australia (e.g. QLD, TAS) do not have any offers with Woolworths Group.

        Each State has it's own benefits for eligible Seniors. Check your States Seniors Card site.

        Correct - Not available in Qld.
        There is over $1000 off annual electricity bill & other benefits to make up for it💰

        Everyone should be able to get 3-4% discount. Or 4.76% in this Deal.

        Have been buying swap gift cards @15% or more discount during the year & swapping for Woolies Gift Cards.
        And taking up Econnex Deals to switch retailers for $100 or $150 Woolies Gift Cards about every 2 months.

            Only 7% off, but better than Seniors etc discount for Woolies Gift Cards!

            Have so many hundreds of Rewards Dollars from bonus points offers to use.
            So the swap cards have been slow to redeem..
