Looks like a great deal if wanting both upgrades for your ender 3 or clone. Promo deal so need to add https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08T1VJ9ZT in addition to the PEI sheet. Also works for the double sided sheet but without the 10% discount.

Also make sure to tick the 10% coupon on BOTH items before adding them to the cart or before checking out.

The sheet and z axis upgrade seem to have mostly decent reviews but at < $28 for both you can't really complain too much.

A very good deal considering a textured pei sheet got for around $20+ and z axis kit $30ish

  • Thanks OP. I had no intention of upgrading to a dual axis, until now. Great price for both.

  • Good deal, ordered. But sad that I just got PEI sheet delivered yesterday, so got one 3 now haha.

    • Not a bad idea to have spares when the print head unexpectedly crashes

Ordered this deal a few weeks ago for around $30 and it has been great so far, especially for the price.

Couple of small issues I've dealt with have been bed adhesion issues, where prints don't stick at all (complete opposite compared to the glass bed, which I struggled to get some prints off) but this was solved by changing the bed to 65 degrees & ensuring the bed was level. I also had an issue with larger/tall prints, this turned out to be the bearing guides added to the top of Z-axis screws. Fortunately the installation video I watched mention these have issues, once I removed them I haven't had this issue since.

These aren't really issues with this kit, just the fun of 3D printing.

      A brim also helps

      • Had to look up what you meant by brim, I've always used skirts for bed adhesion (kinda new to 3D printing). I'll have to give this a go on my next print, most of my adhesion issues where prints that didn't have much connecting them to the bed, a brim should really help with that.

An auto bed levelling sensor is a must have upgrade if your printer does not already have one …I use a ANTCLABS BLTouch on my ender 5 pro.

      • Yeah completely agree, I have one coming for Aliexpress, fingers crossed it arrives before Christmas!

  • The Dual Z kit says unavailable?

    • So it seems. I'd say we missed out. Bugger, looked like an interesting upgrade.
