By way of comparison the EB3A from Bluetti ($499 on sale) does 600w DC output (surge up to 1200w) and has 268wh capacity and is LifePo. Depends on your usage I guess.

I have the EB70 and hooked up two camping kettles and it tripped at 1100w so be mindful these units have specific uses like charging stuff and using very low wattage appliances.

    'apart from DC input issues'
which is actually a massive issue if you need to recharge it on the road camping etc.

I would only go LFP now due to lesser chance of thermal runaway.
Having one of these in your boot is just a timebomb

Right, also good luck with insurance if it burns

I have a flat battery in my Tesla. Can this jump start it?

Will this power a above average sized fridge during an outage? And if so, for how long?

    • +3

Depends on the fridge I guess. I have a brand new Hisense hrbm418d, which is a 417 Litre fridge. The most this fridge has consumed is 800Wh in a single day. (I have been logging it using the Meross since I bought it) The average is ~620Wh per day. 800Wh per day is 8.88hours at 296Wh max rating, and 11.45hours at 620Wh per day.

Doubtful, max output is 300W while most compressors draw significantly more at start up (1kW+). Might do it, but more likely to trigger over-current protection. If you could get it to run, maybe an hour or two of runtime.

Wait for the Allpower R600 deal to come back

    $199 600w 299Wh

Anything below $400 for the R600 is a good deal as it's a solid Power Station with good features for that price.

      • +1

$399 is the regular price on eBay…lower than 400$

        • +1

That's what I was meaning, well worth it below $400.

    • +1

Yeah this was a little ripper for the money

    • Got mine coming tomorrow. Still can't believe that I managed to snag one

    • So bummed I missed that deal. Besides the cool retro look I genuinely need one.

      • Maybe they will do something for boxing day sales

        • I'm inclined to think it's a price error that was honoured. eBay is shit at talking to websites for live stock information so it's not unusual to have a bot adding small quantities of stock.
