      Damn, not eligible for both

      • Same here

    • Cheers OP.

    • Not eligible for this one too,

    • Nice, eligible for both, thanks mate.

  • Thanks

  • Thanks OP!

  • For sure targeted I’m afraid

  • Worked for me, thanks OP!

Good deal but Amazon FAIL: This location is temporarily unavailable because it’s full.

Their single location in Belconnen ACT, a suburb with >100,000 people covering about 10x7 km.

    • +1

Imagine the 'targeted people' are all in that area

      • They delivered very quickly then? /s

The Amazon dump spot is a tiny newsagency. Clearly a badly thoughtout plan, or probably more likely Amazon didn't offer a decent return for the effort required, hence have few options.

        • +1

Another case of decision maker's disconnect from front lines.

  • Code is working for me, but for the item I selected it changed from delivery date of Decemeber 14th for home to December 27th for a place 2km down the road???

    • -1

I mean, the deal isn't for home delivery

      • +1

Yes but why does is take 2 extra weeks to deliver it to the same postcode? Doesn't make sense. That's not worth a $7 savings for me.

        • No idea, maybe they arrange bulk deliveries to these locations to save on shipping

          • +1

@King Steuart: Yeah maybe. You would think they would just give it to the same local Dragonfly guy.

    • I've noticed the same in the past - it always takes an extra 2 weeks to deliver to a pickup place than to your door.

  • and now. what to buy? :/

    • A book

      • :/ Have so many of my research articles and book to read. Need something for kitchen. Maybe a small organizer for side of stove? :/

  • +9

so evolution of shipping industry by Amazon

    1. you buy product online and they send you product (2003)
    2. you buy product online and then you drive to their shop to pick-up (2023)
    3. you buy product online and then you go to manufacturer to pick-up (2030)
    4. you but ingredient online and then go to shops/wholesalers to pick-up and give it to manufacturer to make final product (2040)
    • Enshittification has started…

  • Thanks OP

  • somehow I cant get it work. :/ what I do wrong?

    • Make sure your old delivery address is changed to your preferred pick up point at CHECKOUT. It doesn't default just because you've selected that pickup point.

      • Yeah I did that but still showing this error. "The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase."
        anything wrong with my purchase?

Guys do you have any successful example? share some products with me please :)

  • I would spend more than $7 going to pick up at my closest location. No thanks

  • +1

'The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.'

    • Has to be sold by amazon.com.au, or check your delivery option.

  • Thanks OP! Enjoyed the discount.

  • I have a $4.99 delivery fee - don't recall this when previously using parcel locker (I do qualify for the offer)
Only delivery choices are: Sign-up for Prime or Expedited delivery

  • +1

eligible but not working - used pick up location and also item sold by amazon au. any idea what I’m doing wrong? are books not an option?

    • Tried for books as well and did not work.

    • Have also tried 2 different books and no luck. Both showing as prime and sold by Amazon

  • Couldn't find anything sold by amazon.com.au worth getting

  • Thanks!

  • AZ CS has clarified:
the most important criterion is "SELECTED PRODUCTS ONLY". Eligible products should show that when you visit them.

Whoever wrote the criteria f'ed up by not putting that in caps at the top. (They also mention $5 not $7 as max value).
A tiny bit of QC would help.

Should add, ime they are usually VERY good at resolving problems.

  • Anyone who has found an eligible product care to share or are we upvoting a ghost deal?

    • how come my item will help you?

      • It's eligible. Want to test if what the CS rep said is true, or a fob off because the criteria for eligible customers is BS. I am seeing the ads when logged in, didn't receive an email. Did you?

        • +1
          • @snvl: Thx. That was oos but the bigger one worked!

          • @snvl: There is no mention in the listing of it being an eligible item. How did you know? By trying the code at checkout?

            • +1

@Igaf: Yes, it was on my watch list, tried and worked.

              • +1

@snvl: Probably as I thought. I very much doubt there is a selected items list referred to by the CS, it's a matter of trial and error.

                Glad it worked for you!

  • Cheers bud I think it works for those that haven't used their pick-up service before.

    • +1

If that was the case then it should have been in the criteria anyway.

Seems sort of logical if their aim is to reduce delivery costs and get customers to try pickup, but nope, I've never used their pickup service. Could be "selected items" AND pickup virgins I guess because one trial worked for me.

    • +2

I have used it before, similar deal last year or before.

    • +1

      yeah think so too.

  • They just removed my local pickup location (Malvern).

  • Both $7 worked for me.

Got Palmolive Skin Food body wash

    And lint roller and sheets

    • Did you get charged $4.99 shipping? (Assuming you don't have Prime and order was under $60)

  • I used this promo once (like 12 months ago) and it has never worked since. anyone else?

    • I used it before and used it twice today with success

  • Got 2 of these in the past not eligible this time

  • Any way to see eligible items?

    • Appears not. You could search with 'amazon basics' but not much there. Even ebay items show whether a coupon will work when you click on the item. With Amazon you have to go to the checkout. Hit and miss, far more the latter.

  • This works: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B075JNLCPK
Other items under Amazon Essentials might also.

  • +2

It's really hard to find eligible item.😮‍💨

  • Is there a similar deal to this on Amazon? I selected Pick Up on an order over $20 and was given an auto $7 discount off without applying any codes

  • +1

How to search only for products sold by Amazon AuU

  • Worked a treat, thanks!

  • Tried using it and it doesn’t work for me even tho it says I’m eligible

    • Did you test it with an item which works, eg https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B075JNLCPK ?

      • No I just gave up after trying with stuff I actually wanted

Is there a list of stuff it works on?

        • No list, "selected items" sold and delivered by Amazon.au. Hit and miss. Try Amazon essentials or basics, might be something you like there.

      • The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.

        • Some of those in the link are no longer sold and shipped by Amazon.au. Did you check that on the right before you added to cart?
Did you change the delivery address to a pickup point before entering the code?

          • @Igaf: Yes to all, still doesnt work.
Yes i am eligible for promo too. ah well…

            • @vongz: Yer it’s hard to find a item it works on

              • +1

@Twisty: I actually used the code on the item where it was confirmed it works eg https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B075JNLCPK, added the code successfully, then I added the item I actually wanted to my cart. I then removed the other item from the cart, but the code was still applied! Doubtful the order would go through, but it did.
