Have been looking around for iPad 3 32GB WiFi for the last couple of days.

Lol, was just about to post. OP. you need to check what you got. Maybe you got lucky and they gave you a 64g model instead of 32! Or maybe you thought you bought 64 but really only bought 32g

The latest iPad was released in March this year. How do you figure "12 month refresh"?

Sorry, I misunderstood what you were suggesting. I agree that that's the most likely scenario. It's not out of the question that Apple might do a slight spec bump to the current iPad though - A6 chip and Europe/Australia LTE bands. Not normally their style but anything is possible.
Tbh you didn't pay $608 for an ipad, you paid $678 for an ipad and a case. They sold the case for a huge markup, and made money that way

I bought my new Ipad (3) WI-FI 32GB Black for $600 directly from the Apple store. (on April 19, 2012).
They price match any competitor as long as they have on stock.

Ditto, I price matched a 16GB iPad3 against BigW in the same shopping ctr, the great thing was BigW did not have any white 16GB in Stock, Apple Guy still priced Matched it!
I bought my iPad 32 GB, + 3G for around $520. It Cost $715 from good guys as they had a 10% off sale , then I paid with the 20% off good guys gift card and then I took it overseas and got the GST returned. I estimated I saved about 39%. I was pretty happy with that.

Thanks for the update & editing my post to indicate that it is an iPad 3 32GB Wifi for $608 (not 64GB as originally posted - sleep deprived with an infant at home)
Anyway, appreciate the feedback about the case being expensive & have confirmed during purchase that I could drop it off if needed & iPad will still be at $608. Just got them both as I'm taking it overseas & will be claiming GST; hence got to be on the same invoice.
Fixit - nice find with the Aluminium Wireless BT Keyboard but does anyone know of a folio type case with BT keyboard for the iPad 3? If I get a good deal, I will drop the case purchase from JB … thanks in advance :)
