Good afternoon Ozbargainers. Looks like a lot of people will migrate to Kenya for cheap Netflix with very simple steps.

Because I suck at formatting, no table from me but price comparison are the following:

Australia Prices:

Basic Plan: (No longer available in Australia unless you previously were on it)

Standard with Ads: AU$6.99/month

Standard: AU$16.99/month

Premium: AU$22.99 / month

Kenyan Prices

Basic: 300 KES /month (~AU$2.93)

Standard: 700 KES /month (~AU$6.84)

Premium: 1,100 KES /month (~AU$10.74)

Note: Basic plan it's 720p (HD) and only for one device, Standard plan 1080p (Full HD) and for two devices, Premium plan it's 4K + HDR (Ultra HD) and for four different devices.

How to Sign up: (Super Easy Steps)

1. Connect your VPN to Kenya (I used free TunnelBear VPN)

2. Once you are connected to VPN Kenya. Go to the Netflix website. https://www.netflix.com/au/

3. Sign up to an account (I haven't tried a pre-existing account, possibly it will work).

4. Choose a plan. Image

5. Pay with your card that doesn't have any international fees (Revolut most likely will fail) Please report back to update post.
   Cards that work: UP Bank, Bankwest Platinum Zero, Commbank, Qantas mastercard, Macquarie debit card, NAB,

6. Disconnect your VPN and you are ready for Netflix. 🍿

So no Kenyan address needed , no telephone number, no hassle.

You can transfer your old profile to your new Netflix.

It works like this:
• Go to netflix.com
• Click Login at the top right.
• Enter the email address or telephone number and the password of the old account on which your Netflix profile is located.
• Click on Log in.
• Click on your profile.
• Click on the picture of your profile / your avatar at the top right.
• Click on Transfer profile.
• Click on Next.
• Enter an email address and password for your new account.

  Yep the fun is over. Have people received a refund and if so, how long after service was cancelled? I haven't received anything and it's been a few days (and had been subscribed for <<one month).

  I’m here cos this page came up in a Google search.

  I got error 3-441 “account is no longer active” after having been on a Turkey account for over a year.

  Guess the foreign account gravy train is over?

  Got booted from my Turkey subscription. Called the 1800 number and asked for a refund for the month, and got one straight away. I didn't give them a hard time for cancelling my account - afterall we were taking advantage of loop holes. I'm just glad I had a cheap subscription for about 2 1/2 years!

  So i'm one of youse on netflix kenya previously for about 1.5 months (cancelled without refund on the 2nd month)… and yesterday received emails from netflix asking me to come back but quoted KES200/month…

  so what does that means?

    Probably means they'll take peoples money and then cancel them again a few days later. I can just imagine some bloke in Netflix getting a couple of promotions for working out a way to get peoples money while avoiding refunds.

  Applied then next day cancelled,after 30days renew and next day cancelled again, already 20 days still working as they can cancel the cancelled account 😀 still use Aussie credit card
