    Free burito included!

    • Does it come with a phone number?

      • +2

If it can make calls then surely it has a number.

        • True, common sense haha!

    • That's good!

      • +1

        The burrito contains potassium benzoate…

    Vodafone network

    • +1

      :(

    • Honest question. What’s wrong with Vodafone network? Discounting Telstra network is it worse than Optus?

      • +2

It depends on the area you're in. Where I am, Optus is almost unusable, but Telstra is good.
The opposite is true in my friend's place 3km down the road.

      • After my Boost plan ran out a few days ago, I decided to go back to Vodafone. For me it's infinitely better, I finally have usable reception in malls and at home…

Meanwhile for some strange reason Telstra was a black hole. But as the other person said, it definitely depends on where you live / where you will use it.

      • I ported to Vodafone as my in-between Boost recharges.
It was awful. Fine in Brisbane but when I drove up north it was close to unusable.

  • +3

Someone should pop this over on ChoiceCheapies for all the bruzzies coming over next week

So can this make my iwatch connect or does it need to be connected to my phone sim?

  • +2

For those able to travel back in time

      • +6

        Don't be ridiculous.

  • +1

Can I port my number to this?

  • +4

The website is so cheap I doubt the network will last

      • Does that mean wanting to vomit more than once?

        • Definitely.

    • Some Tamil names end up having wrong meaning to be used for a name. Pretty sure this is derived from "Achyuthan\ Achyuth" which is another name for Hindu God Vishnu, the name meaning Imperishable\Indestructibe. Add a leading "A" for any Sanskrit word you get a synonym of the word. In this case, Achyuthan meaning Imperishable. Take out the leading "A" ends with Chyuthan/ Chuthan meaning perishable/destructible.

  • I should add that I used this provider previously and was quite impressed with their level of support in trying to go above nad beyond

    • +9

      Chuthan Kanagasundaram, is that you?

      • +10

no, thats Chuthulu Kanagasundaram, but i understand the mixup

        • Iä! Iä! Cthulhu fourGnetwork!

      • lol. no sadly not :p

    • Above nads is good.

    • Not sure who negged me. But I was just sharing my experience. I do not use this provider anymore as the Telstra network suited me better, but wanted to give honest feedback as this was the first time a Telco's rep went above and beyond in trying to help me set up the eSIM on my phone.

  • Great for a tourist staying in Oz for a few days.
But the big problem with this one is that it runs on the Vodafone network.
    No way Jose!

  • Could you buy multiple and park to use for sim hopping?

  • Did anyone receive their eSim instantly?

I got two emails back, but nothing regarding the activation of a sim

  • +2

    Out of stock.

  • Ok so I decided to give it a go and signed up for a new number and within 30 minutes of the number being activated I received these text messages purporting to be from PayPal. I had to turn off the esim to stop them from coming through.

They don't look like scam messages since those normally include a fake link or phone number to phish for your details. Very weird.

    • +1

Probably someone used that number before as a burner

    • Had this happen to me once from a new number from optus

    • Was there an option to port in your number or it must be a new number?

      • Yea there was an option to port in. I just wanted a new number.

        • Awesome thanks for the information

    • I think they meant "teeny" as in "teeny-tiny".

    • +1

No you need to hold an empty VB can up to get reception in Victoria

      • Just as well, there are no full ones here.

      • LOL

  • I got my email almost instantly not sure I want to give my credit card details

    • Can we use disposable virtual card?

      • Yes

    • I just used a card with $0.00 on it and it works..
