Honest question. What’s wrong with Vodafone network? Discounting Telstra network is it worse than Optus?
It depends on the area you're in. Where I am, Optus is almost unusable, but Telstra is good.
The opposite is true in my friend's place 3km down the road.
After my Boost plan ran out a few days ago, I decided to go back to Vodafone. For me it's infinitely better, I finally have usable reception in malls and at home…
Meanwhile for some strange reason Telstra was a black hole. But as the other person said, it definitely depends on where you live / where you will use it.
I ported to Vodafone as my in-between Boost recharges.
It was awful. Fine in Brisbane but when I drove up north it was close to unusable.

Not sure who negged me. But I was just sharing my experience. I do not use this provider anymore as the Telstra network suited me better, but wanted to give honest feedback as this was the first time a Telco's rep went above and beyond in trying to help me set up the eSIM on my phone.

Ok so I decided to give it a go and signed up for a new number and within 30 minutes of the number being activated I received these text messages purporting to be from PayPal. I had to turn off the esim to stop them from coming through.
They don't look like scam messages since those normally include a fake link or phone number to phish for your details. Very weird.
