Was this made in flutter? beautiful design. Thank you.

Thank you. Yes, the app is made with Flutter. :)

    Web: https://motivatedapp.io

    That's not real Web lol

  • If you could make a companion apple watch app then you will legit have a 10/10 product

    • +3

That's something we plan to add in the future :)

      • Eagerly awaiting that update!

      • @4mish nice, apple watch app would be great! Being to mark a habit from apple watch would be ideal.

Any plans to integrate with Apple Health somehow? Habits like drink water, exercise can potentially be included in Apple Health. Not sure if it could go both ways, for example like logging an exercise with the Fitness App can automatically tick off an exercise habit. Might be out of scope of this app, but would be cool if this was possible.

        • HealthKit integration is something we have on our list, but there are many other features we want to bring before that. At this point, it's hard to tell when or even if we will add it to Motivated. There are many technical challenges with HealthKit, especially when it comes to sync across multiple devices.

  • Clean as! What stack did you use to develop if you don't mind sharing?

    • +3

      Just Flutter :)

  • Will this also be usable via an online website portal, or is it only via the phone app?

    • Only on iOS and Android for time being.

  • Looks good. I'm going to give it a go. Would love a widget so I can keep reminding myself as well as easier to tick off.

    • Yes, widgets are one of our top priorities

  • too late ?? no code on IOS or andriod

YES it is there "read the instructions ………

  • I managed to download the app but I have no luck putting ni the redeem code as it says it does not recognize it. Using android on a poco x3. Any suggestions?

Edit: nvm just figured out the instructions more clearly instead of putting the code in the buy option

  • I have about 30 habit apps downloaded free through AppAdvice or other deals. I have used about 4 or 5 without success. I have a habit of hoarding and forgetting. Starting is no prob, but how do I stick with it and actually use it day after day for years on end, thoroughly integrated into my life? Delete all others, start fresh, keep reminders on, put daily calendar event on, use SMART goals, actually care about the habit of hoarding (software) and its negative impacts? Perhaps this thread could also serve as a supportive group regarding progress/regress, motivated out of fear of losing face (or the joy of…gaining face?).

feel like people should only leave a review once the "free" app does persist since its not part of IAP with the rest of the functionality up. but hey maybe its just me.

  • Appreciate the code, OP. I will give it a go and leave a proper review in a few weeks.

  • Nice, I hate apps with trackers, logins, and streaks. Streaks demotivate me after I fail one so back to the why bother beat my personal best. I'm glad it's not in my face on the task.
Integration to make it sticky, pavlov's dog me to make me get my fix, and clear communication on monetisation into the future would help. The analytics collected isn't clear enough for my liking, but I could investigate further if I cared.

But why make yet another motivation tasks app? and compete with Google, Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, etc, in the tasks and reminders?
Perhaps pick a buy-out partner that you should chase and integrate with. Samsung, Google, a fitness crew, offer co-branding, etc. If you are just in the business of scraping data and creating a subscription with extra consumer benefits, that's a difficult mountain to climb… but good luck.

    • The main idea behind Motivated is to offer a better way to build your habits. Almost every tracker focuses on a streak that doesn't really make sense. Streaks are nice, but they can't be the primary metric for success. Missing a day and losing the streak doesn't mean that the habit is ruined, but many habit trackers make you think that it is.

Hi @4mish, is there a method to alphabetically organise the motives and automatically sort the ticked items accordingly?

    • To reorder your habits, go to the habit list (accessible through the button in the top left corner), and then hold down on an item to change its position. Unfortunately, there is no way to automatically move completed items to the bottom. However, we might add this in future releases.

  • Downloaded, thank you! Keen to give it a proper go

  • Is it still valid? Can't find any field for entering the code.

  • No input field to enter the code. Deal expired??

  • Looks like done
No prompt to enter in code either

  • This app design is so beautiful! I'll definitely be using it. Will review soon.

  • Looks better than the previous AD for this category

  • Great App! I have been using it for a couplw of days. I would like to see an option to put more information on the task. For example if I'm going to start a new routine in the Gym I want to write more information about it so I can remember what to do exactly. Thanks.

    • We plan to add notes in the near future. This will allow the attachment of rich text (lists, bullet points, etc.) to every activity.

This has not yet expired. Code still works.

  • I’ve lost premium access. Didn’t remove the app.

  • I had to factory reset my phone today and lost access to premium. Is there a way to get it back?

  • Oh man… Any chance of extending this deal? I downloaded the app last year thinking I already got it as premium and just got around to setting up some habits and noticed that I didn't get premium :( feeling some major fomo. Would be very grateful if you could share a code to use the app as I was looking forward to using it for 2024.
