          I'm pretty sure it applies if you buy it from an Australian company where the invoice has an Australian address on it and it is billed in AUS dollars. Anyone know how Unique Mobiles bills you?

          It depends on whether the GST was charged or not. Last time I checked with them there is no gst so it won't qualify the definition of Australian store. But this is my interpretation only

          That's incorrect. If you buy from Amazon, you will not get the price protection. You may however still have the merchandise protection which covers lost and stolen goods (not sure).

          Sellers on ebay do include the charger and shipping for free, and a screen protector costs bugger all. I have already paid for this phone from Vodafone which I have unfortunately lost and I am now looking to get another one to replace it.

    I just got a note 2 delivered from these guys. Took a couple of days to get shipped and another a couple of days to get here from HK. Not bad for that far! Really nice phone, I'm a happy customer.

        6 days from ordering with 2 days of weekend in the middle, so 4 working days. It took 36 hours to go the last 150kms according to the tracking.

    How is Unique Mobiles when it comes to warranty stuff? I can see it comes with a 12 month 'Unique Mobiles' warranty - does this mean I send it to them and they get Samsung to fix/replace it? Or do they do it? I've read through the warranty info page, but I'm obviously a bit thick today.

    I'm just worried my boyfriend will break the phone and need to send it in, and I'm wondering if we should buy locally. How much better/worse is it buy from Unique Mobiles than say, Harvey Norman (ignoring price, obviously) in regards to warranty claims?

      i have bought two phones from UM - can't talk about a warranty claim, but I had to return a phone as it was wrong band (opened packaging) and they were really good about it - full return no questions

      Anyway, for $60, i think you are better off getting the 32GB version. It A-tick plus it comes with 2 year Samsung warranty.

      Most importantly, being 32GB gives you an extra 16GB room to store those videos. :P

      Good question, I got a white one shortly after release only because I couldn't get my hands on a blue one…kinda regretted it since (but don't think it's worth bothering to buy a new one now just to change colours). The blue, and especially the red, are much sexier :)
